What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???
Good Morning Fine Virginians.....
It's a brand new day, and the beginning of a brand new week FULL of commitments. Just make sure that ONE of those commitments is to yourself to move each day. Get your blood pumping, cause winter is coming and it will be tough.
So...what are YOU doing to move today???
Me? Well, I'll be hitting the treadmill today. After half-a*sing my workouts last week, and nothing since thurdsday night, I really need to get my rear in gear. So...treadmill it will be.
Enjoy your day!

Hi Priscilla -
I already had a Wii gaming system, which is the most expensive part (I believe it was around $250) - There's a new "game" called WiiFit ($89.99) which is an exercise program that is set up like a bunch of small games to complete -
- There are 4 categories: Balance, Aerobic, Yoga and Strength training
- Each day you step on the board before you begin and you're weighed, your BMI is calculated, and you complete some balance exercises to get started.
- Once you've "checked in", you can choose any type of excercise you wish
Today I did 1 round of breathing (yoga), 1 round of half-moon stretch (yoga), 1 round of table tilt (balance), 2 rounds of hula-hoops (aerobic), 2 rounds of steps (aerobic) and 1 round of running (aerobic)
Since I'm just getting started, I spent about 20 minutes - I plan on adding extra rounds of things each day until I'm up to 30-45 minutes and doing longer distances in the running program.
It's a lot of fun and since it checks your progress each time you use it, it's motivational too - As you get better "scores", more activities unlock as well.
