Prayers for a beloved member here....

I got a call from Ms Ann this evening.  She wanted to let everyone know she may not be around for a little while.  She found out today that her Sister, I think Cindy, has been diagnosed with Bone Cancer.  She has it in her hip and has been in exurciating pain.  They have only given her vicadin and it is not doing much to releive the pain.  They do not know what stage it is and only have little information at this point.  If you could please keep Ann's sister in your prayers and positive thoughts as well as our dear Ann as she deals with the news of her sister's health.  Thank you!

Oh that is such horrible news. Here everything was getting better for her and now this. She and her family will absolutely be in my prayers. Please keep us updated

The rest of you, wow, what can I say?  Your love & prayers are exactly what we all need.  Thank you from my entire family.

Current plan is a biopsy on Monday to determine what KIND of cancer & what stage she's in.  Thank God she made the decision to move away from Orange, TX to San Antonio otherwise she would not have the doctor that she has now.  According to her, he's amazing.  All I care about is that he's good at what he does & that he takes care of her.  If she's happy with him then all the better.

Rough night.  I finally got hold of my brother in Germany & we  talked & talked into the wee hours of the morning.  I also talked to Cyndi yesterday for several hours.  She sounds so defeated, so...small?  I did my best to keep things upbeat, but how do I keep that up when I don't feel it myself?  It KILLS me that we are so far apart, distance-wise.  Cyndi & I are extremely close.  She's not only my sister, but she's been my best friend for 50 years.  Heck...I helped feed her as a baby!

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to my OH ohana for once AGAIN rallying around me & mine.  Whatever would I do without ya'll?  I probably won't be back here till Monday, when I have more to report.  In the meantime I've decided to distract myself by make ME something.  I've got in mind a barn sweater...I'll design it as I go.  I hope all of you are safe, happy, on the mend, healthy...all those things that I would be saying if I could be here with ya'll the next few day.  Just know I love you.
