WELCOME TO THURSDAY YA'LL!!

Good am!

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your Wednesday? Ours was so jam packed! I loved it! Got Kayla off to school with no meltdowns. Nora & I got in our walk. I got a lot of work done. Got laundry, sweeping, dusting, moving things around cleaning up this and that, throwing out things we don't need/want etc. Nora is the biggest helper. We did dishes together, she poured detergent for clothes, she helped hang things on the clothesline outside, helped make bed etc. She is so spirited!

Nora took a nap which allowed me some Kat time which I needed to process and then she woke just as Kayla was about to get home. Another good day at school! I baked them a Mickey Mouse pizza and they enjoyed that over watching cartoons. No homework yet but I got to hear all about Kayla's day and how much she likes her new teacher and all the new things she gets to do. We laughed about it all and I love watching her face light about school. They read a neat story and she told me all about it. She's another reader (like her momma) and I'm so proud of her! Got the buggas to bed and they fought it some but finally conked out. I watched Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth. Both were really great! I feel asleep just after 11 pm I think.

What's on the books for your Thursday? At this very moment I am getting my am started. I didn't sleep well last pm. I prayed a lot and that helped. Just was worrying over a lot of things and some I cannot control so I'm trying to give those things to God and see where it goes. I realize I sometimes want things yesterday and patience does take a lot at times. I'm going to get a pot of cuppa going, grab a shower, get a few things done then wake Kayla for school. Going to get in my walk today along with hitting up my To Do List.

Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Thursday!

Good morning Kat - I didn't sleep well either and for some reason the fire alarm went off a couple of time and after checking the house etc I have no idea why it did that - woke poor Connor up too but as it was only 5.30am I managed to get him back to sleep......... so I got up and showered anyway since I was awake.....

Work looks busy today   - some arguments to sort out with auditors - not mine but I am the liaison so they will become mine today... fun fun fun

Tonight a Support Group Meeting in Woodbridge and dinner with a friend afterwards........

Hope Nora is getting more used to being on her own again and that Kayla keeps enjoying school. Connor only had to go for one hour yesterday so he wanted to stay longer - 2 hours today and 3 tomorrow! Then 5 a day after that. He is growing up fast.....!

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning Beautiful!  Glad your day was good.  It must have been in the wind to be busy cause mine was packed too.  Go go go at work, stopped by my condo at lunch time & my patio furniture was stolen so I called to police to make a report.  After work missed them gym cause of too many errands to run.  Did laundry & some cleaning.  Hubby fixed dinner, we had all our adopted sons stop by to tell us about school and then we went to bed early.  At a meeting for work all day today so I won't be doing much there.  We get the girlies tonight.  Hope you have a great one!  Love you much!!

Good morning, beautiful!  Wednesday was great.  I worked till 5 and the day seemed to last forever!  Left and went to the doctor.  Turns out it is just a bug with no meds needed but nothing is staying down still.  Thank God for water because that is my lifeline right now.  I was able to add some CL into it last night and did OK but I wasn't sure for a few minutes!  So far, so good this morning.  I am on my third 20 oz bottle and it is all staying down!  After that I had to make some time to go to costco, Walmart, Target and Petsmart.  Busy, Busy.  I got home just after 8 and did some laundry and fixed a quick dinner (since noone else can cook ANYTHING if I am not there!).  I cleaned up a bit and it was off to bed around 11.  I did not sleep very good, either.  Hmm...must be something in the air?

On the books for today is working a 1/2 day then off to the doctor for another appointment.  After that, strength prevailing, I will finish the laundry, cook dinner and go get my nails done with Kara and a friend.  After that it will be packing things up for this weekend.  I am almost positive that we are going to get rained out at the races but sure as we do not prepack it will be sunny and warm and we will have nothing together.  Steve also needs to clean the gutters and get things tied down "just in case".  It looks like Hanna is going to give us a run for our money.  Storms like this excite both Steve and myself so we are really watching the weather maps.

Give me a call later.  I should be out of work by 1 at the latest.

Love you!

Good morning wonderful ladies. We must have all been awake last night. lol. I could not sleep. I hate sleeping on my back but with this feeding tube its the only way to sleep. UGH! It was so irritated last night that it was actually bleeding. At least I am getting my protein in with it. Yesterday afternoon Alex came home with another green light! Yeah! And no ticks!! He is one cranky little boy this morning though. Already been in time out 3 times already this morning.
On the books for today is waiting and praying for my paycheck to come in. It was suppose to be overnighted on August 28th. Called my hr department and I work for Capital One so there are a million people there. Who knows how long it will take the here back from them. I am getting ready to be charged a $50 late fee from mortgage company. UGH! Called them explained and they said not there problem, wont help me out. I tell ya.
One thing, Tam you said you have to sign up for support group. Do you know when or who to call?
Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey Brooke.  You do not have to sign up for all the support groups, just one and I do not know which one.  Call Irene at St. Marys.  She can be reached thru the Richmond Surgical Group.  That is where her office is.

Good evening to all.
Today was busy with appointments for the folks in the group home. In the morning I learned about pavalomas and biopsies. In the afternoon one of the ladies had a successful physical. Ran into a postop from Charlottesville Meet and Greet while at UVA.
After the first week back to work, I was tired. Left work at 5pm and had dinner at favorite spot.

This weekend will be busy with metting friends for breakfast, appointments and cleaning my house. Cobwebs seem to multiply when you are not looking. Recently I became an unarmed security guard and will be working my first UVA football game. With the rain coming, the game will still be on. Pray that I don't have to pad anyone down. Ticket taking sounds  better.
  Happy weekend to all.  CIndy
