I'm so excited for you!  :)

Your mom is a good woman to treat the hubbykins to a meal and conversation out.  Will your husband sign in to let us know how surgery and recovery went?  Or do you have an "angel" up there who can check in on you and let us know?  If not, when you are able pop online and give us a heads up.

Good luck Amanda.  We'll all start scooting down the WLS bench.  There's so many of us by now, it might just take us two days to all scoot down a seat.  HA HA  :)

Thanks everyone!!!  The encouragement is welcomed at this point as I am having a mini panic attack at the moment.  My husband just filled all my perscriptions for me and I didn't realize my anti-nausea meds were in suppository form.  I thought the doc explained it was a capsule that I would just open up.  I must have imagined it.  I hope this isn't TMI but is this even possible after  surgery?  I would imagine using a suppository would be a little painful.  Maybe that is just my thoughts during the joys of pre-op flush, but I would think that end could use a break.

I don't have an angel and as great as my husband is, he's not always great at relaying information.  I will try and get on to update everyone when I can.

Thanks for all the prayers!!!

no pain for suppositories for me post surgery.  I had to do them fairly regularly before I was allowed to go home (they wanted things moving).  I'm a little surprised that anti-nausea meds come that way!

Just an FYI...if using the suppository freaks you out a bit you may want to inquire about the zofran that dissolves under your tounge.  This is what I had and still use now when needed.  Not sure if your doc will let you use those or not but it is worth an asking!  Keeping you in my prayers.  I know you will do great!
