Had a pretty good day once Connor had his shots and I could relax lol He did fine - he is a little trooper! I did fine too becaue he was fine -I am a bigger baby than he could ever be!!
Today was his first day at Kindergarten but he only had to go for an hour - he spent that hour telling everyone about his shots and how he didn't cry because he is not a baby any more!! lol! He is so brave now it is all over lol!!
Hope you all had a great day today! Mine was busy! Spent the evening buying Connor the toy I promised him if he was brave for his shots! He was so proud to choose his own toy!

Hi Kit Kat,
For 12 years I taught Special Ed. For 7 years I have been working as a counselor in a group home. There is so much I have learned from the students and the adults..more than they have learned from me. In a couple weeks two of the folks are going to the beach..and they are so excited. During that same week, I am going to take one of the ladies on an overnight trip to either Staunton or Richmond.
Knee replacement surgery will take place on October 13th. I am getting nervous and excited at the same time. The rehab is scary to me, but I am determined to do what the therapists ask. Getting things ready at home and at work is coming together.
With Fall approaching, I am looking forward to recovering on my porch. Collecting books and activities to do while recovering is also on my to do list.
