Finding South Beach Meals
Lauren -- Thanks so much for the support! :) It was kind of off-putting being "attacked", but I took it all with a grain of (sodium-free) salt! LOL! I am struggling quite a bit these days with high-protein, low-carb or high-carb, counting calories, reducing sugar, more water, reducing caffeine, cooking healthy -- dear Lord! :) Now packaged meals are bad?! One poster even says products with more than three ingredients are bad?! I think I'll just eat celery and Starbucks and be done with the whole mess! LOL Sorry for venting there for a minute. I'm just becoming very overwhelmed, possibly with TOO MANY choices out there. And then, as you know, you come home from a long day and you're hungry and you have to cook? Yes, I realize I've been through a $50,000 surgery and I should want to change but old habits die hard and it's just very frustrating that the day after my surgery -- over three years ago -- my brain didn't simply follow my body. Sorry for venting on you, I didn't mean to unload! :) I really appreciate you writing in support and maybe you and I can learn to enjoy cooking together. Thanks for writing -- REALLY!!! :)

Venting is cool...BRING IT ON...I know how frustrating it all can be. What to eat, is it the best choice, did I get my water in today, how can I get more water in...AHHHHHH!! So many daily challenges. And frankly for the cooking dsyfunctional people like myself, it's more challenging (but of course I'm biased...or just bitter...HA HA)
Old habits are very hard to break. So far, I'm still in my new period and things are easy to keep on track. I've only had a few really hard challenges so far (some food smells that nearly did me in, and the freaking person who keep bringing two dozen dunkin donuts needs to be thrown down a flight of stairs) but so far so good at warding off temptation.
Just keep focused and you'll continue being successful! HUGS!
