THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY YA'LL!
How are ya'll doing? Wonderful I hope. How was your Thursday? Ours was pretty jam packed. I absolutely LOVED the thunderstorms and rain for the better part of the am to pm and through this am! Got some things done even if I was dragging rear some. Did some research and conversed with several folks and Addiction Transfer among other topics. I feel like I'm making some wonderful progress. We met Kayla's teacher last pm and got to see her classroom and where she'll sit. Kayla's excited to be going this coming Tuesday. She also saw that there are some of her same friends in her class this year.
We stopped by the store on the way home and while there we found "Mickey Pizza." Yep, they make pizza's in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head. 
We came home and Nora was fussy and comes out on the front porch and says "My grammy told me I am not going to school yet and I am mad at you Momma!" Well, then! She's so smart and ready to go! While the buggas were sound asleep I worked on the folder of paperwork for Kayla to turn in Tuesday. I wasn't sure where I should put the drop of blood when I was done! Jeez! Anyhow, it is all done and ready to go. I got to bed just in time for the thunderstorms to kick in real nice. How about instead of one in my bed (me) there were THREE! 
Then in the wee hours it was THIS from the buggas! 
LOL! That's hysterical.What's on the for your Friday and weekend? I've got to get work done so I can enjoy this weekend. Need to get chores and errands done. Laundry, groceries, pay some bills, get by the store and pick up last minute supplies for Kayla for school, shoes & some clothes. I am hoping things come together nicely this weekend and personally I'd LOVE some more thunderstorms/rain. We still need it. I'd like to find some time for myself as well.

Good Morning, Sunshine....
Sounds like an eventful night. And what a great way to start out the school year, but poor Nora. Her time will come. Just remember this conversation when she is 15 and won't get up for school - haha!
Well, I'm getting ready to shower and head out for my yearly bloodwork. Then back home and off for camping at the beach in preparation for the Rock and Roll 1/2 marathon. I am scared to death. What if I pass out...what if my legs cramp up...what if....what if I finish. Everytime I think of that one, tears well up in my eyes. What if I actually fini****
Well....after the numberous opportunities of adding to our family that have left me wanting the patter of little feet and no little feet, I have placed a deposit on a Shiba Inu puppy. We are going back to the breeder we got Roxy from, so next weekend, I will be travelling to New Jersey to see a man about a dog. Actually a woman about a puppy. I cannot wait! We have decided to get a little boy...so now I need to come up with a name. I LOVE the name Walter, but I was told that I was to NEVER call him Walter or the guys would come up with their own name and I would not be happy - haha. So, now I'm thinking Dakota - maybe Cody for short.
So..that's the highlight of my day - ha and it's only 750.

Congrats on the decision to get a new puppy. I am happy for you. I have found in naming my puppies I can not do it until after I see them. When I got my English Bulldog I was sitting in the floor playing with him and trying to figure out a name. I decided he needed a "manly" name and was just saying things out loud that I thought might work. Of course he was not paying any attention to me at all until I said "Brutus". He snapped his head around and looked at me and smiled so I said "okay...Brutus it is". I joke that he named himself! By the way, I like Walter...Wally for short.
Good luck tomorrow. I have no doubt that you WILL finish and I will be saying prayers for you!

Life could not get any better than this!
I'm excited. Everything happens for a reason, and with everything that happened, it showed me that we were in fact ready for another (our third - UGH!) dog. But, Shelby is over 14 and her age is showing through. Roxy adores Shelby and will be lost without her, so hoping by having another one here for about 1 year, it will make it easier for her.
I LOVE the name Walter, but I was told that if I named him Walter - which is perceived to be a sissy name - that they would give him a not-so-nice- nickname. So...I will call him Walter in private - hehe.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm excited and ready to do this!

I got my butt home as soon as possible, made some Turkey Keilbasa with Mac & Cheese for the fam. I ate a smidge of keilbasa and some peas. I quickly chatted with my Mom and got into my bed. Then came the minor bathroom debachle. I had to have it out with our maintenance guy because of my toilet. I could hear a waterfall from my kitchen and all the water was coming out of the back of the tank. I cut off the water and called him. I won't even get in to the details, but I'll be calling management after a bit. Won't do any good, but it might make me feel better.
I spent the rest of the evening relaxing. I watched Shear Genius, Project Runway, and Big Brother. I love lazy nights. I needed it.
So far I've come to work, stopped by the dentist so she could continue to adjust my bite and tell me I need a crown as soon as my flex restarts in january because I fractured my stupid tooth that I got a root canal done on in May, and I'm looking forward to 5:01 so I can hit the road!
I gotta call my sponsor at 5:30, meet Em for coffee at the buck, watch Jeopardy before the meeting at the meeting, and then probably dinner with my peeps! Good times.
I hope everyone has a great long weekend (for those that have Monday off with me!) and get plenty of rest, school is back and traffic is only gonna be worse! Booooooo.
