Howdy!
With the exception of a week of rain in Florida from tropical storm Fay, I had a good time away.
My daughter Kristin is settled into University of Tampa. She is a bit homesick but loves the food on campus..ah..the freshman 20 begins.
From there I went to Shreveport Louisiana to visit my sister. I worked with her and the K9 search and rescue group she volunteers for. I was found 3 different times by one of their bloodhounds, Ginny. She is just 1 year old and still training so that was a big deal for her.
I kept up with excercise and making good food choices.
Now that I am home, I start fighting the insurance company. Seems they are going to drag their feet in paying the claim for the water damage. (the bathroom shower faucet broke and the valve broke off in the wall..)
Not very happy with Allstate at the minute.
Off to catch up with the daily grind.
