Good am!!!!

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope! How was your weekend?? Mine started off a bit emotional and challenging but as things progressed and I found myself surrounded by those who are in my amazing support system I began to realize the positives certainly surpass the negatives. For weeks I'd built myself up for Friday and getting out and about with friends to see Boss Kean's Ditch & Shooter Jennings. A bit before we were to leave to meet up I got a bit disappointed. I managed to allow that to carry on through the pm but what saved me was the wonderful friends I was with. Tammy, Steve, Lauren, Adam and Josh seriously made the night entertaining and joyous. Dinner was the BIGGEST hoot! We had Mexican and I got surprised with a big honkin' choco taco cake (didn't eat it but LOVED watching who fed who) and got to be serenaded and wore a HUGE sombrero!! (Yes, there are pictures and MAYBE they'll show up) After dinner we headed to our musical destination. It was BEAUTIFUL where we were and we really did enjoy ourselves. Once again Tammy was photographer extrodinaire and I got to see some preliminary shots and I think the guys will be stoked. :) BKsD totally rawked it out and I danced so hard and loved it second of it! I loved our conversations and laughing and we got to walk on the Canal Walk for a bit and got to visit and goof off and I really was smiling for the most part. I cannot wait to see all the pics from that as well.

Saturday was spiffy as well. I was battling one heck of a headache and even napped during the day which I don't do. Got a wonderful pm surprise with my buggas, mom, Tammy, Steve & Lauren and blessings from others who couldn't be with us for my birthday/soberversary get together. I really love the kindness and thoughtfulness that went into it. Really touched my heart and I feel so loved and appreciated and blessed. Sunday was a day I'm still processing but I really & truly enjoyed myself and my buggas had a blast as well. We went on a few runs with Tammy then swiped Steve and headed for a semi-public beach where we spent our day. THANKS to Tammy & Steve as they helped make Kayla's last summer wish list item come true. She's been wanting to get by the beach and we made it (technically its not a beach but hey it has sand and waves and poop droppers and seashells lol)!!! It was so much fun!! I loved watching everyone have such a nice time. We cut up, carried on, swam, goofed off, etc. It was FANTASTIC! We left there and headed for Tammy's aunt's house and wow oh wow am I a proud momma! My buggas rode horses!!! On top of this we got to see/feed goats, swung on a rawkin' swing on a tree and really enjoyed the company. :) We grabbed dinner and cracked up over stuff and we ALL (I think) had the "sleepy sillies." Weeeeeeeeeee!!! We saw a fiery accident (out when we passed) on the way home and hope & pray all were saved. Looked like a big SUV type vehicle and a smaller compact car. :( Prayers there for sure!

So, what's on the books for your Monday? Me? I'm celebrating ONE YEAR OF SOBRIETY!!! What's better? Laundry, chores and the like but I'm TOTALLY stoked and celebrating! So, lemme get to it! Here's to everyone who has supported me and been there for me! LOVE YOU MUCH! Big hugs and all that jazz!

:)

Morning Sunshine......

First, let me say...CONGRATS on your 1 year.  It is a MAJOR accomplishment and I am SO proud of you.  You have journeyed on a difficult path, but have taken each challenege head on and have never swayed in your determination to be the person you were meant to be.  No matter what was thrown your way by so-called "friends".  You did it!

So, let's see here...it's Monday and the start of another new week.  Not much on my plate for today.  Work, and then my workout.  That's about it.....Should be a quiet day, which will be nice for a change - haha.

Preparing for Sunday's main event....the 1/2 marathon that Blair and I are running in.  I'm scared as hell - haha.  My greatest fear is passing out on the course - haha.  We shall see how it goes, though.  I've learned alot about this challenge - for which I am glad about.

Oh well....until tomorrow....have a GREAT day!  Love ya!

Good Morning Beautiful!  Happy 1 year of Sobriety & Happy Belated Birthday!!!  Sorry I had to miss the festivities.  So glad that you enjoyed your weekend!!!  I am so awed by the journey you have been on this past year!  Your survival through the ups & downs has been remarkable!  Your strength is inspiring.  Keep it up!

My Monday will consist of going back to work (not looking forward to that). A trip to the gym, then probably a quiet night at home.  Our girlies started school today, so their daddy got them up, ready and off they went.  The oldest started High School and was so nervous.  The youngest was a bit nervous but not too bad.  I can't wait to hear how their day went.  Well I best go get ready for work.  Have a great day!  Love you much!!!!

I had a great weekend and am planning on a great week, of course anticipating our trip to Myrtle Beach starting Friday.  I can't wait!  Unfortunately we found out there are thunderstorms predicted the entire time, but I don't care, we are going to arm ourselves with umbrellas and a smile!

Hi honey!  Ok, so I am late this AM but I got to work latter than usual (although not late but the time clock standard!)  and have been in training most of the morning.

So Friday was awesome,  Dinner and dancing and listening to good music with my family and GREAT friends always works for me!  And my added bonus is don't something I really love...taking pictures!  I am going to get them on a disc tomorrow or Wednesday and get you your copies and BK'sD's, too.  I hope they like them and am anxious to hear what they have to say about them.

Saturday was awesome.  Lunch was, well...lunch but the company was fabulous and a trip to the park for some convo's and nature time was a blessing.  Steve and I got home after and vegged then caught a nap before work.

Sunday was another beautiful day.  I picked you and the buggas up and off to work and shopping we went.  It seemed like it took forever but I am sure that is because we were anxious to get on the road.  We finally made it home to pick Steve up and off the the river/beach we went.  I had such a great time laughing, relaxing, playing and just talking.  The trip to my aunts to see the horses and goats was fun, too.  You know the story there but I am glad we went anyway.  It was great to see the buggas riding and I can't wait for us to go back to exercise them and really get a good workout.

On the books for today is finshing work, maybe grabbing some dinner...maybe skipping it and then to bed.  I am tired and ready to catch up on some zzzzz's!

Love you much,

Tammy C
