Update on me
Hi Everyone,
Today I met my new PCP. He is so thorough and proactive. He checked Vitamin D levels to make sure the bones are going to be strong enough for the new knee...October 13th. He made sure that my meds won't give me any problems during surgery. He wants to make sure I have PT following surgery.
In September I will attend Joint Camp to learn about all I need to do prior to and following surgery.I am nervous and excited at the same time...
Stress from work and preparing for surgery is causing me to graze eat. I need some ideas that will help me to get back on track. Thanks, Cindy

Hey Cindy. Glad things are moving in the right direction for you and you have a good PCP. As for the grazing my best idea to get back on track is to not have it around you. Chances are good that you will not go and get it to absent mindly snack on it so just leave it out of sight. It will probably cause you to think about it less, too. In times where I have to chew on something, I chew ice and it helps a lot. I get in fluids and no calories so everyone is happy!
