Now , you have to eat . If food hurts , or is making you sick , you need to get back to your surgeon and let them know . I hope you are supplimenting for you protein. This is very important in your journey as protein is needed to help you heal .
Your desire to eat was diminished with your surgery. This is what they call putting the fire out . But you must still try to stick to your doctors protocol of foods .
If I where you , I would let your doctor know what is going on .
Just remember that you are still so new to your journey , so much going on with your body right now. Weightloss will come . Just make sure it is a healthy weightloss .
Hope this helps .

I am a little concermed that you are not eating enough or perhaps not getting enough protein. Are you taking protein shakes because on 400 calories a day I am not sure you can be taking enough? Believe it or not - protein shakes can actually help you lose weight and if you are doing a decent amount of exercise you do have to fuel your body - or it will go into store mode - which is what it may be doing. Eating fruit is nice but will not give you the fuel you need to keep your body going...... what proteins are you eating? And what stage of food are you in?
You are still in the early stages of the weight loss cycle where food is not really appetising yet. But that does not last......
You are not failing at this - you just lost 42lbs!! But I would just go back to the doctor or nutritionist and explain to them what you feel is going on and go over your food plan with them. That way they can analyse it and see if you are getting enough nutrients.
How are you doing on your vitamins and supplements? These are really important too....

Maybe you should try to eat a little more. I was told to eat about 800 calories a day.
Best of luck, Penny

1 bottle of Isopure is only 40 grams of protein, I'd suggest 2 a day. I'm a fan and use Isopure also, but check with your doctor. I bet you aren't getting enough protein in. When I was 8 weeks out and using Isopure, I had to drink 2 or 3 supplements (depending) to reach the daily 75-90 grams of protein that was needed.
Becareful with the peanutbutter, depending on the brand, it could cause dumping or get stuck and that's uncomfortable.
As for the pill, I take a bilingual B12 from Vitaminship that is smaller than a dime and is fruity, look for that. It's Vitamin Shoppe Brand.
You also may want to check with your doctor as you may be far enough out where you don't have to crush your pills anymore which will be a relief. If you still have to crush them, try applesauce (sugar free), yogurts, soups or even in the isopure, (a small glass) these tricks all worked for me...
Last point and then I'll hush... 42 pounds is FANTASTIC... don't compare yourself to anyone else, your body will have peaks and valleys in the journey downward, so keep doing the protein, excercize, water and vitamins... and the weight will follow... PROMISE!!!
You are in control and you are doing GREAT!!!
