SO... I WAS AT WALLYWORLD THE OTHER NIGHT WITH MY BESTiE AND WE WERE BUYING ALL HEALTHY FOODS AND FRESH FRUIT (SHE'S ON THE(MEDICALLY SUPERVISED) PHENTERMINE DIET PILLS/WATER PILLS..WHICH I TOLD HER ABOUT..SO.. OF COURSE YOU KNOW SHE'S WONDERING WHY I WON'T JUST DO THE DIET PILLS..GIVING ME THE WHOLE..GIRLLLL YOU DON'T NEED WLS JUST DO THIS DIET..UMMM NO THANKS...DID THAT DIET SO MANY TIMES, LOST SO MUCH MONEY, GAINED SO MUCH WEIGHT BACK ONCE I STOPPED SUCKING ON THEM DIET PILLS...THAT I REFUSE TO WASTE ANYMORE MONEY GOING THAT ROUTE. I FINALLY HAD TO ASK HER 2 PLEASE STOP SHARING HER OPINION ABOUT HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT ME GETTING WLS CUZ NO ONE IS CHANGING MY MIND. PERIOD BOTTOM LINE! DAMMIT I GOT INSURANCE AND I'MA USE IT! (MY WLS IS COMPLETELY FREE) SHE BETTER GO SOME WHERE WITH THAT MESS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH..MAYBE AFTER SHE'S WASTED 1000.00'S OF DOLLARS AN RE-GAINEDTHE WEIGHT BACK...PLUS GET GREAT INSURANCE..SHE MIGHT..RECONSIDER..ALTHOUGH SHE'S BEEN BIG ALL HER LIFE..AND SAY'S SHE HAS NO PROBLEM BEING A BIG WOMAN...(SHE WOULD JUST LIKE TO LOSE A LITTLE WEIGHT)..ANYWAYS..LIKE I WAS SAYING I WANTED TO TRY SOME SUGARFREE SWEETNER..EVERYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN SPLENDA IS OUT OF THE QUESTION FOR ME...I JUST CANT TOLERATE THE AFTER TASTE..SPLENDA CAN BE PRICEY..IF I HAVE TOO SPEND THE $$$ FOR IT I WILL..BUT I NOTICED THEY CARRY A NEW BRAND OF SFSWTNER..WELL I'D NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE...I'S CALLED NUTRA TASTE $1.72 (OR LESS)120 PACKETS.YOU CAN GET IT IN A HUGE BAG 2..NON PACKETS..AND BABBBBBBBBY IT IS GREAT TASTE JUST LIKE THE BOX SAID...J.U.S.T LIKE S.U.G.A.R..N LIE...NO AFTER TASTE..NO NOTHING..HELL GOT ME WONDERING IF ITS NOT REALLY SUGAR. JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE THAT...GOING SUGAR FREE CAN BE RUFF FOR SOME OF US...WELL THERE'S OUR SOLUTION.... TRY IT AND YOU GUYS LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKE IT...

I have not heard of this but I do know that a lot of stores, wally world included, do have their own brand of splenda. I personally can not use splenda as I am allergic. After doing some research I also discovered that it is refined with bleach and I personally do not want to consume any bleach. I just stick to sweet and low...what I am used to! I may have to look into this. I drink tea a lot and use a lot of SF sweetner!

I use Stevia occasionally (available at places other than just Trader Joe's--I know Whole Foods carries it as well, and even some grocery stores. The trick is that you have to look for it in the supplements aisle since it is not approved as a food additive in the US). Be careful wih it, though, as it requires VERY little compared to sugar. Use too much, and it will have a bitter aftertaste. Less is more with Stevia.
Also, I use erythritol, which is a natural 0-calorie sugar alcohol that does NOT cause the nasty side effects of other widely-used sugar alcohols. I have found it at Whole Foods and even a local chain grocery store (Bloom), as well as Wegman's. It pretty much sweetens measure-for-measure as sugar.
