I received a present from the MD po-po today
When I went to CT I got caught on one of those camera'ed red lights. I just knew it when I overshot the light, couldn't break in time and said screw it and mowed through. I saw a flash behind me. Sure enough I got my $75 in the mail today.
What made me laugh outload was the verbage "If you wish to contest this citation, your request for a court date must be postmarked by 9/5/08". Nope, there's no contesting this...red light, car before the stop line, red light, 59 in a 55(!!!),car going through light, CLEAR pic of the license:
I'll be sucking it up and sending in my dough. LOL

lol!! Too funny! Well not really but it is quite funny how they catch you. I had to go through a toll in New Jersey and I threw in some coins into the bowl and one fell on the ground but I thought to heck with it! So they sent me a $25 fine in the mail - it was like 3 months later - I tried to fight it but it was just too much trouble so I paid it......

heh, I grew up in CT and still have family there. Trips to/from CT were my financial downfall when I was in college in southern PA 
I quickly learned, though, that a ticket in just about ANY state was cheaper than a ticket in CT!

Shoot, I would contest it.
The camera doesn't show who's driving for one. Do you lend your car out? Were you driving?
How do they get the pictures into evidence? I would think there may be a confrontation clause (6th amendment) issue.
Of course, doing this will cost you more money than the ticket!! :)
