Hi Everyone,

Like a post from yesterday, I have been lurking (I sound like a stalker )on this board for about a week, getting to know everyone and setting up my profile.  I just wanted to officially say Hi.  This board has already been such a lifesaver to me.  I am having RNY on Sept. 5th and my emotions are all over the place.  It was originally scheduled for Aug.26th, so now I just have more time to freak out.  Now if I could just figure out how to change my avatar so you can actually see it, that would be awesome.

Hi Amanda,
I'm fairly new here also.  I'm just over 3 months post op from RNY and am doing well.  It is very normal to be nervous and anxious about the upcoming surgery.  This site is a great tool to use when you have questions or concerns.  I have met a lot of wonderful people who have been so helpful to me.  I wish you the very best.
