I always try to deal with stressful situation with alot of smiles and jokes. I always try to be positive. Poor Jeanine (my nurse) saw the sad Brooke. She told me that I am going to have to be admitted to get nutrition in me. I have not eatten in 2 days and she is very concerned. Well my husband could not get out of work today, so my son was with me. She she said that she would send me home with home healthcare for fluids and vitamins. She said if I can't hold anything down by Wednsday she is going to admit me into the hospital. I am so scared. I just don't know how much longer I can do this. If I did not have my son I don't know if I would want to go on. I am just so sick. I cant even explain it. Sorry for being so depressing, I just feel defeated.

Brooke,

Please don't feel defeated.  What have you done wrong?  My motto has always been what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.  You are a fighter and will be stronger because of this.  I know you feel defeated now but try and remember your emotions are on a rollar coaster and your hormones are going wild!  You will get through this.  Jennine is excellent at what she does and she will be there all of the time.  I am here, too.  Let me know if you need ANYTHING!!!!! I will continue to pray for you.

Brooke, I am so sorry you are having to go through this.  Please don't feel defeated.  Your system is all whacked out but with your dr. & Jeanine on top of things hopefully an answer will be found soon.  You are in my thoughts & prayers.

Hey Brooke,

Tammy's right...don't feel defeated. Its a GOOD thing you're being proactive about your care in this journey. Its best to get the time, care and attention when needed instead of finding yourself in a dire situation. Its not an easy journey but you aren't alone in this. Many of us has days when things just aren't coming together and we're feeling lost, depressed, afraid etc. There's hope and you have to keep your faith strong and turn all the negatives into determination. Its no accident your son is there with you. Everything happens for a reason. :) Keep us posted.

All best!

I'm sorry Brooke, don't feel defeated Jeanine is very good at what she does, so if she feels you need to be readmitted then its for your own well being. Take good care of yourself.

I am so sorry you are going through so much, Brooke.  It sounds like you are doing just the right thing by being so proactive about your health, and by the sounds of it, you are getting great care.  I hope things work out for you, and quickly.  Maybe once you get the fluids and vitamins in you, you will perk right up!  Know that I am thinking of you and wishing you nothing but improved health!

I thought I had already replied to this but it is not here. Brooke, I know things are rought right now but it will all work out - you can't afford to get dehydrated and add to your troubles so it really is for the best. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of your troubles soon. Sometimes our bodies take a while to adjust to the surgery - some day you will look back and this wil not seem so bad... but it is not your failure Brooke - it is just your body adjusting to all of this...
