Good Morning!!

Not much to report from my house.  We had a nice quiet weekend for the most part.  A lot of it was spent at church as Saturday morning from 9-12:30 my son and I were at Orchestra rehearsal getting ready for Russ Taff to be there Sunday morning to sing with our choir and orchestra.  Saturday afternoon was just spent in fun with the family.  We spent about two hours at our new Books A Million and then the evening was just relaxing.  Made lasagna for dinner.  YUMMY!  I sneaked a bunch of veggies into it and the kids had NO CLUE!!  They ate it all and liked it.  :)  Sunday was back at church from 8-12:30.  Went FANTASTIC!!!  Praise and worship definitely happened!  The afternoon was just spent at home relaxing with the family.  Computer time, watching the olympics, talking, reading, just enjoying being together.

This week is going to be a bit busier.  Have 2 appts for one of my kids (school physical for JROTC and a peds pulmo follow up for his asthma) and 1 appt for me (yearly woman stuff and lab work).  At some point I need to find a dentist and get all the kids in for check ups and cleanings.  Yuck.  Hate those appts. At least my youngest no longer takes off running and hiding when it's his turn.  LOL  Other than that, it's business as usual with laundry, cleaning and cooking,  Tuesday orchestra practice,  Wednesday night prayer meeting and Truth Project at church, etc.  It's going to be a GREAT week!!!

Hi Kit Kat,
The weekend was filled with emotion due to the passing of one of the guys from the group home. All weekend I just thought about Doug and what we will miss with he not here with us. Today was spent cancelling appointments for him and arranging rides to the graveyard service. Three of his housemates will be attending, so their schedules had to be rearranged. When the folks came home, we cleaned up, stopped at Wendy's and took our dinner to the park. The weather was beautiful and eating outdoors was wonderful.
Tomorrow we will attend the graveyard service. The graveyard is surrounded by mountains, and is beautiful. Following the service, we will be going back to a sister's house for lunch.
Thank you for all of the prayers. Peace, Cindy
