WELCOME TO MONDAY YA'LL!!!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your Friday & weekend? Man oh man we had some good times. Friday was errands, groceries, cleaning, getting "new" toys down from the attic and cleaning. Saturday was cutting grass, cleaning up/out the yard in general, laundry, more cleaning inside and before we knew it, it was 10  pm. I'd just fallen asleep when I'd gotten a call that kept me up until almost 11. It was nice though. Sunday was an early riser for the buggas & I since we'd done things the day before and were up kind of late. We got up, made coffee, read the paper, played computer games and watched some cartoons. Then we headed out for an afternoon with Tammy & Steve and her family. Chatting, eating and LOTS of swimming was to be had. It's not like we like water or anything. :P Thanks for the invite Tammy! The buggas & I had a very nice time. We got home something to 6 pm and we vegged watching some TV before getting to bed about 10 pm again.

What's on the books for your Monday? Laundry, cleaning (finding homes for some toys), paint color research, working on some writing projects, getting some work done, catching up with a couple folks who I've finally heard from after some marked concern and hopefully have a nice day of things. I'm certainly blessed and thankful for so much. I hope everyone has a fantastic Monday! Smile your best smile, say what you need to say and never take another person for granted. We're only promised the here and now.

Hugs and all that jazz!

Good Morning, Sunshine......

Happy Monday to ya!  Had a relaxing weekend, which was nice after being gone all week.  I did not get my run in yesterday as I had planned - the day slipped away from me and I became engrossed in my book (yikes!).  But...in retrospect it was ok.  I push my body so hard at times that I think it really needed the rest I gave it.  But..today is a new day and back to the grind......

So, what's up for today?  A lot of catch up work.  I'm a week behind at work - ugh!  So, work will be keeping me busy today.

I have an appt with the chiro today - I'm actually excited about it - the thought of having my back cracked it putting a big smile on my face - YEAH!  I need it, too.

John is due home tonight - YEAH!  Looking forward to him coming home.  Hey...he's been gone 6 weeks.......

Enjoy your day!

Good morning, beautiful!

What a fabulous weekend we had.  Friday night was a vegg out nite.  We had a cozy dinner and watched movies.  I was kind of lazy, but it felt good for a change.

Saturday was busy, for sure!  We gbot home from work about 7 am (late papers!!!).  I was not ready for bed so I grabbed my run, came home and showered then realized just how tired I was!  I grabbed a couple of hours of sleep then got up and at em for a jam packed day.  It was full of laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, my monthly "stock up" trip to Costco (dropped some big $ there :(...) and then more cleaning, cooking and food prep for Sunday.  Steve and I took a nice, brisk walk later before going to bed about 8.  We got up at 11 to go back to work and had Kara and Adam with us.  We finished in record time for a

Sunday (a little over 2 hours!) and came home early.  I, as usual, was not tired.  I stayed up, gve the dogs a bath and enjoyed a cuppa and some qauiet time before the rest of the house woke up.  Then I went to pick up the returns and to my delight Steve went with me!  We got home about 11 or so and I played on the computer and paid bills till 12 or so.  Then it was off to pick up Adam and meet you (Kat and the buggas) for a cookout with my family.  I was really dreading that so having good friends and convo's made it much nicer for me and for Steve.  The swimming wasd awesome and we had a lot of fun.  Steve and I got home about 6:30 and it was off to bed for Steve about 7:30 and I finished the billing and took Adam home before heading to bed myself around 10.

I was up at 3 this beautiful morning.  Got my run in and most of the billing for today.  I should be done in aboutg 45 minutes tonight which is awesome!  I will probably take Kara (and no doubt Adam, too) with me tonight so we can go to Peebles and see if they have any clothes she likes there.  I have gift cards and coupons, so might as well use em!  I have about four more loads of laundry (don't ya just love "beach" towels!) and then I am done for two days.  Dinner is already cooking in the crock pot so tonight should be very relaxing!

Love you much and can't wait to see you and the buggas!

Tammy

BTW>>>>>after you left yeaterday we played some cd's (yeah...you know which ones) and we now have several folks that want to come and hear them play. I think the next show is at the Pour House, but let me know if there is something sooner!

Hey Tammy,

Sounds like you had a great weekend too. I'm feeling pretty darn accomplished with things. Sunday was a lot of fun. The buggas are still talking about it. :) All things considered it went well I'd say. Kewl about others interested in seeing them. At this point, with Ryan on vaca and Doug laying more vocals and just the end of summer stuff the Pour House is the next thing right now. I'm really excited about it!! So, I will keep you posted on it! The more the merrier!

Hugs........

Morning Beautiful!!!!  Glad to hear that you had such a great weekend.  Mine was pretty good too.  Friday ngiht after taking the girlies to their mom, hubby & I went to Costco to get some stuff for home & in prep for our beach trip.  Saturday I slept in a bit, got up hit the gym for a Body Flow class (yoga with a bit of pilates), then was energized & did some cleaning, dropped off a donation at the Thrift store, did the grocery shopping.  After hubby got home from work we went out to dinner & then hit a local car show to look at some old hot rods then went to get the girlies again.  Yesterday we were all pretty lazy, took us a long time to wake up and get ready for the day, but once we were energized we hit the mall for the last of school shopping.  Then is was home for a relaxing family evening.  Tonight is my local support group meeting so I am excited about that.  Probably not much else in store for me today other than work.  Hope you have a great one.  Love you much!!

p.s. just counting the days til vacation!!!!!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Our weekend was pretty good.  I was bad and never made it to the gym. I am hoping to get by there tonight if it is not to late.

Saturday we went up to his Aunt's store.  I have found a dress for the girls and outfits for my men.  Then we chit chat for awhile.  She has put together a chamber for American Liberian's to help Liberia grow through education, entrupurnership, the children and etc.  With my skills and education she is very excited about me working with her.  She has done some great work already and wants to stay in close contact with me.  Although Liberia is not my home country it is my husband's and my children's.  And as she said by marriage I am Liberian. : ) But I want a place for childrent o be able to go in their future.   So it should be interesting.

Sunday, me and kids went to my mom's BF house for a little birthday celebration.  The kids go to swim and had some fun. The bad part, I did not get to get done what I needed to for this week.  UGH!
