I sit here so frustrated. OHH! They did the scope. Good news is that there still is no stricture or ulcer BAD news- all they saw was red inflamed tissue due to reflux and vomitting. I was told to stay on all medicines for stomache and nausea. Monday morning I will go to Dr. Hutchers office and see Jeanine. She is going to set up at home health care for me so I dont have to be admitted for fluids and nutrition. I know it will all get better in time. I feel horrible because my dh is working his job, taking me to drs appts, fully taking care of our 7 year old son, cleaning, laundry, bills, grocery shopping, and cooking (more like ordering out for him and son but it still counts)- I mean everything. I am so weak and dizzy and cant do anything. I have never been like this before. But dh never complains and just keeps going. Oh how lucky I am on that front. thanks for letting me vent guys.

Well the good part is that they did eliminate some things so there has been progress..... I am so sorry you are having a rough time and am hoping they get to the bottom of it soon.... and husbands are supposed to be able to give you back up- after all, you probably manage all of these on your own normally don't you? Enjoy the fact that he is helping without you nagging.......  that means a lot!

Hang in there!

Brooke, take heart, dear one...this will all work out soon.  In the meantime, give that dh of yours an extra special hug for taking care of things so well.  As for venting, feel free anytime.  Remember, we're here for the bad as well as the good, so no guilt here, ok?

Hugs!
Ann

Hey Brooke,

This will pass and be a distant memory. Hope you get to feeling better. DH is definitely a blessing. Just count those and when you can you'll return them. :)

All best!

Oh damn!  I was so hoping that they would find what is causing the problem.  i guess it's a good thing that you don't have a stricture or ulcer, but still bad news that there is no solution on the front other than more meds and waiting.  I hope that you heal fast and soon and are able to get back to your regular routine.  And give the hubs a big hug for being such a supportive partner.  That's wonderful!

Brooke,

I am sorry that you are going thru this.  I am assming that you are on Carafate.  That is a wonderful medication.  I was on it for quite some time and it helped a bunch.  I am here if you need anything.  Just let me know and I will be keeping you in my prayers!
