2nd endoscopy in 3 weeks

I do want to start out and tell everyone how thankful I am for your support. I have been kinda not telling everything that is going on with me. I had my rny on June 2nd this year. Weight is coming off, but not the way I wanted it to. I have been vomitting for the past 4 weeks or so. I am not keeping any food down. Even my vitamins I get sick over. So I went to get an endoscopy less than 3 weeks ago, they told me they saw I was swollen and red but just keep taking the 3 stomache meds I was given. Did that- still vomitting.. SO went back and saw Jeanine on Tuesday. She prescribed a patch and put me in the outpatient infusion center to get pumped up with fluid and vitamins because of dehydration. As they were pumping in anti nausea medicine I was getting sick. So Jeanine has me going in for another endoscopy tomorrow. I am hoping that we can get to the bottom of this now. I still have not been back to work since I cant stay out of bathroom for more than an hour. I just want my life back. I know or hope life will get better soon. I always try to be positive but I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired. Thank you for listening to my rant and if you are still reading please say a quick prayer that they figure out whats going on. My appt is at 920, so at least I can get it over with soon.

thanks I am really living by the rule of take one day at a time. I know we all have obstacles to go through and mine is this right now. My poor son is scared to death to see his mom getting sick all the time. I can handle it, I just dont want him to be messed up. He told his grandma that he had to tell her a secret. The secret was he was scared I was going to die. I try not to get sick in front of him. I will run to the bathroom, but he has caught on and runs after me to check on me. I told him mommy is going to be just fine. I explained that this can happen but nothing is going to take his mommy away. I feel so bad for him

Hope things go smoothly with the Endoscopy. This is something that happens to some folks following WLS. Mine occured much later than most folks (13 & 14 months post op). I've had 2 strictures and a bleeding ulcer. I had 2 Endoscopies and the 2nd one finally did the trick. In any event, we are here for you and keep us posted.

{{hugs}}  Wishing you all the best with the Endoscopy and prayers that they find out what is wrong.  I, too, get sick regurlary.  I know where mine comes from...it's a sinus drainage.  I am on Zofran regurlary and it helps a lot, but not 100%.  If you want to get together, let me know.  I am near St. Mary;s Hospital and usually get off from work at 5 or 5:30.  We could meet up and talk about things.  I have been where you are and it is not fun.  Mine were at 5 weeks and 5 months post op.  You are not alone!

Oh Brooke, I had no idea you were suffering so much! You should certainly not have to vomit day in and day out. I so hope they get to the bottom of all of this soon.
