Now they have ruled out Diabetes.  After checking her sugars after dinner last night, through out the night, this a.m. & after breakfast, they have been fine.  The Doctor thinks that the spikes & lows were how her body was reacting to being dehydrated and possibly an infection.  He is going to check again after lunch and all but he thinks she is good.

Court,

This is great news and I hope this is the case!  Fairfax is a great hosiptal.  They literally saved my life a couple of times and feel at ease with them.

Court,
This is WONDERFUL news!  I am sure they will get to the bottom of it.  I have no personal experience with Fairfax hospital (yet!) but I have heard they are very, very good and thorough.  I am positive she is in good hands.  You all remain in our thoughts and prayers.  Please keep us posted.

Courtney, that is such terrific news.  I'm sure everybody in the family is relieved.  One thing we were taught in EMT school is that kids are very good at compensating when they're ill, but when they crash, they go QUICKLY & they need help immediately.  I'm so glad that she got help in time.  God bless your whole family & especially little Lexi!!

Hugs!
Ann
