Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope! How was your Thursday? Ours was definitely jam packed. I was draggin' butt from the 3 previous days but I managed to get in extra fluids and I felt better throughout the pm. Got a LOT of things done which I'm thankful for, am still missing those 3 library books but we'll find them, became a bit irritated with how expensive things have gotten and found myself cutting way back on certain things we don't HAVE to have anyway, had a visit with a friend of mine who swiped some great veggies from our garden and we chatted and goofed off, then I got the buggas ready for their last night of Vacation Bible School. It was GREAT! They BOTH sang and it was really cute. I got pics and couple videos for the memory books. We got home just about 9:30 and they wanted to play! I guess so after the ice cream social they had and all the hoopin' and hollerin' they got to do. I was going to catch Fear Itself but only got in the first 10 minutes. Kayla wanted to watch it and that's not a good thing. She could during the day but not at night so I'm gonna watch it today.

What's on the books for your Friday and weekend? Today is getting more done (still not finding a lot of energy), hopefully finding the other 3 books, getting a few errands done and maybe taking the girls on a little trip. For the weekend, we are going to be around the house and hopefully get in the pool and relax. I want to catch up on some sleep but we'll see how that goes. I'll see what's going around our area otherwise.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday & weekend!

G'day to ya Kat girl, not much planned n this end as I'll have to stay in the AC today as it is a hot one here. May take in a movie this weekend to see Dark Knight. Yeah I agree not letting Kayla watch Fear Itself at night as that would probably give her nightmares or something. Hope you find the books as they can be expensive to replace. Have a great day and weekend..jim

Good mornin' beautiful.  I am here at work, doing some more overtime.  Yesterday was pretty good.  I worked till 7, went top Costco to fill the truck up with gas and was surprised to see the price had come down!  Went in and bought a gallon of milk and some blueberries.  Stopped into Kroger to get something for dinner.  We ended up with steamed squash, mac and cheese and steak.  Steve cooked the steaks on the grill and I did the rest.  Adam stayed for dinner and then I drove him home.  Kara and I had a good talk.  She is getting a little wild lately and I took her phone yesterday.  I explained that if she wanted to keep it (or even get it back) there were gonna be some changes.  She seemed to understand but we will see as the day comes.  Her attitude became horrible as soon as she got back from vacation with my sister so I have also limited her time to be spent at my sisters house.  I told her going over there was a priviledge, not a right and she had to earn it!  Thankfully she took it well and seemed to be happy with the end result.  It was off to bed around 1030 and I watched Hopkins.  I had never seen it before and it was pretty good.  Tonight I will work till 6 or 7 (not sure which one yet) and then gostraight to bed.  I am giving Steve the night off and doing the papers with Adam's mom so I need my rest.  Tomorrow we have to get the last of my uncles furniture out of the house...tv stand, couple of antique dressers and a table and a daybed and hopefully Steve will get my kitchen finished so I can have my "new" fridge.  If my energy holds we will go to Busch Gardens tomorrow night to see Rick Springfield.  If not, then we will go on Sunday.  So far for Sunday it looks like church and then BG or Water Country (or both) and not much else.  The grass is cut, the laundry is almost done and all I have left is grocery shopping.  I will probably do that Monday...there is enough to get through the weekend so we will be fine if I pick up a gallon of milk.  I just bought one last night and it was gone in two hours!!!  BTW....when we go to see BK'sD in a few weeks....Steve said to tell you it will be my birthday celebration!  I am really looking forward to it and so is he.  He said a definate YES!

Good AM Kat, I haven't been doing to much. Still recovering from PS. My hubby bought me a bike from Craigs list. It is a really nice bike for only 40 bucks. I think we got a great deal. I love craigs list. I have started picking up around the house but keeping it light work. I think I am healing nicely. I think next week i"ll get out on my bike. This weekend my son comes home from boy scout camp. He's 11 and this is his first one. I have missed him so much. I can hardly wait to see him. I hope you have a great weekend.

Morning Beautiful!!!  Sounds like you had a wonderful day!  Isn't it great when you get to have those wonderful moments with your kids.  We had a great evening.  My sister & her family were in the area so we met them for some ice cream.  Was a great little break in the evening & we got to hang out for a bit.  Then when we got home, my Morgan got her first job.  She recently took a baby sitting certification class at the library & last night our neighbors became her first customer.  They have a 3 year old who is just adorable, has crushes on both our girls.  So he came over & hung out with us.  Morgan did very well with him.  And she earned some extra money to take to the beach with us.  Today we are all off of work so we are going to do some fun stuff.  Hubby is out running some errands now, when the girlies get up I think we are going to go out for brunch, then hit up the new Batman movie, it is just way to hot to do anything outside.  I think the hubby & I are going to go out dancing tonight, got some shopping to do (probably tomorrow) bday gifts for my 2 sisters, going to go get me a popcorn maker, thinking I need a trip to Victoria Secrets for myself.  There is a free music concert in Old Town tomorrow, some bluegrass music which my hubby loves so I am thinking perhaps a picnic at the park tomorrow evening.  Sunday is a pool party bday celebration for my sisters.  Wow looks like I have a lot going on but the great thing is, it is all so much fun & I can take my time & relax & enjoy it all.  Have a great weekend!  Love you much!!!

Hi ya Kitty-Katt!!!  Didn't make the morning check-in, as is usually the case, but I'm here now.  Sounds like you & everybody have great plans for the weekend.  Ya'll know how things went yesterday so I won't go into that more.  I also have a busy weekend planned.  Christina should be arriving in a couple of hours for the weekend.  Mike's out goofing off around town with his brother who's visiting from GA.  Matt & I have been doing some minor straightening up around the house in prep for the bbq on Sunday.  Looks like it's gonna be another good turnout with a very diverse group...wl ppl, horsie ppl, & EMS ppl, plus family.  Who knows...maybe even horsie rides on Sage!  And of course water spewing everywhere!!  Wish you could be here too but the pool sounds great too!  Tammy, I was hoping you could make it, but Busch Gardens sounds like fun too...pretend I'm there with ya! LOL  Courtney...I guess I'm gonna have to book you MONTHS in advance...lol!!  Ya'll have a great time.  Jim & Betty, you'll be missed...how ever will we get by without our grillmaster?? LOL  Ok, gotta go make some lunch.  Hugs & kisses to all!!

Hugs!
Ann
