Newbie from Richmond!

UMMMMM...HELLOOOOO......bring him along.  This is an event for all of us.  You HAVE to be there!

I will definitely talk to him about it but being our first date, and being around all those people that he doesn't know. But I will check with him. I am hoping he doesn't mind!

So you're finally going out with him, huh? Can't wait to hear about it! But, really, is your date going to last the WHOLE DAY long?!?!

Oh yes girl. Tomorrow we are doing dinner, movies seeing "Get Smart" and then live band at an irish pub here in town. Sunday we are supposed to be taking the kids to the park to have a picnic, to play and feed the ducks. I am really excited about this weekend!

Hey Renee, WELCOME our of lurkdom! There is a wide array of information and the same with the folks here. I had Lap RNY and don't know a lot about the DS but I do wish you the best in making the choice that works for you. Looks like you are getting some great answers.

Hello and WELCOME!  I am an open RNY patient and do not know much about the DS procedure.  I chose the type of procedure that I had done based on my surgeon.  I chose him and then went with what he performed.  I used Dr. hutcher at Commonwealth Surgeons here in Richmond.  He is awesome and has been doing this longer than anyone else you will hear about on this board.  He has performed five gastric bypasses on me and my family members.  Let me know if you want more info on him. 
I hope you can make it to Hadad's on the 27th.  It would be great to meet you!  We are a fun and crazy bunch but we always have fun.

We're glad you're here. I know my dr. (Dr. Elliot, of Richmond Surgical Group) does not perform the DS, but I'm sure there are some that do! I hope that you'll come out and hang with us when you can - looking forward to getting to know you!
