He said I'm a poster child!!

Yesterday I went for my year post op check...albiet a month late.

My surgeon is so pleased with my results he called me his poster child for weight loss!

My labs came back excellent, the only thing I'm a little below norm on is Vitamin D. So he has me taking it 1x week for 8 weeks and then 1x a month thereafter.

edit to add: Oh yea...he took me off the HBP meds I've been on since I was 22! That's 22 years of taking blood pressure meds.

I have been maintaining @146 a 100 lb loss, for 4 months. He said very few of his patients do this before 18 months post. My personal goal was for 135--I only picked this number because my older sister weigh's 135 @ 5'5"...but I wear a smaller size than she does...Yippee Skippee

I love my RNY
