OFF TO KENTUCKY

Thanks to everyones prayers, I have finally found and accepted a new position with Aramark at Baptist Regional Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. My last day here at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is July 28th. While I hate leaving this wonderful hospital with all it's wonderful people, I believe that this move will be beneficial to both my wife and me. No more two hour commutes to work, no more getting up at 4:00 AM and getting home at 7:00 PM. I will actually have time to exercise and less time in the car to eat. No more having to be in bed by 8:00 PM and missing out on every evening activity that comes along. And not the least of all, being able to live where the cost of living doesn't keep driving us deeper into debt. With three kids in college now we need every penny we can save. So thanks again for all the support, prayers and friendship. I couldn't have done it without you.

Take Care and Congrads on the new job.  I hope this ends or at least slows down some of the bumps in the road you've endured; the job change being BIG.  You look great despite the frustrations and stress.  I hope this all works out for you and your family.  We'll miss you in Virginnie.

Michael:  I am so glad things have worked out for you, your wife and family.  I am sorry you are having to move, but it sounds like a great opportunity.  Thank you for your kindness and friendship -- I will never forget you taking the time to come to see me at Fair Oaks post-op.  It meant the world to me.  I wish you all of the best in the move, and continued success with the surgery and everything else in your life.  Please keep in touch -- let me know how you are all doing in Kentucky.  Take care.  :)

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I am also glad that I got the chance to stop by and see you after your surgery. I will keep checking the VA board for the VAgirl.  Bye the way, you look great in your picture.

Just cause you're moving don't think that lets ya off the hook for your "home" board! :) CONGRATS on the position and I hope the move is successful and rewarding. The blessings you are seeing before you've even moved are great. Keep us posted! All best!

Hey Little Brother!!  So you're movin' on to Kentucky blue grass, eh?  Good for you.  KY is so beautiful...almost like living here in VA.  Katt stole my sentiment but I'll say it anyway...you can take the boy outta VA but you can't take VA outta the boy so you best make appearances here or we'll hunt you down!  Mike, I'm sure gonna miss you, but what an exciting new adventure.  Your quality of life is going to improve substantially...just wait & see.  Just know that I treasure our friendship & I love you very much...never forget that.  Till we meet again...

Hugs!
Ann

Of all my OH brothers and sisters, I feel closest to you. I will always remember all the times sitting and gabbing in the Fair Oaks Cafe. And having our picture taken each time in the lobby. I still don't think they know what to make of that. Ah, let 'em gossip. Thank you for all your love and support this past year. I will keep in touch, because as you told me once before, I don't want to have surgery to remove your shoe from my butt.

Ok, I need to clarify one thing...the shoe in your butt...it will be an ugly shoe...probably one that I've worn out in the fields, covered in horse & cow poop & Lord only knows what else.  So I'm glad you've taken my threat seriously.  LOL

Hugs!
