Anxious

I have another followup with my surgeons office tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to it because I really want blood to be drawn so we can make sure everything is on the up and up.  Does anyone know how long I will have to wait for the results?  I also really want to get my pat on the back from the old doc for my progress so far.  Silly, I know, especially when the man has SO MANY superstars, but I want the man to know I'm using my tool to the best of my ability and how much I appreciate his hard work of rearranging my goods!  :P

Hey Lauren, Some results go back to the doc pretty quickly (a couple of days). Some take a little longer (4 or 5 days). My doc always has me get my labs a week prior to my appt so that she can review the results with me.

OMG Look at the weight you have lost. That is totally amazing and a clear indication of how great you are doing.

I had lab work done at my endocrinologist and they told me to give them 3 days or so. Like you, I am anxious. But I am sure you will be fine with your labs. Please let me know how you are doing and how things went for you at the dr's office. Just remember I will be thinking about you.

hi lauren i, too, have a follow-up appt tomorrow at 10:30am with my surgeon, i had them mail a script for the labwork last week and had the blood drawn on friday, so he'll be able to go over the results with me in person, which i prefer..so for future reference...have them mail the bloodwork script and get it done beforehand  hehe! good luck! -hugs-

Good am Lauren, I hope your appointment goes very well today! I'm excited for you! Our office usually gets results to us within 2 weeks. We get a slip with a number to call. Its almost always there before 2 weeks time. I tend to be calling before then anyway. NOT silly! Hugs........

Sounds normal to me.  I am sure you will get the kudos you deserve for all of your hard work.  I think it usually takes a few days to get the blood work back.
