Well today started out great!!  Had my protien drink, Cottage cheese, 16 oz of water, and snack.  I have still been keep my foods very soft, meaning no canned meats or fruits. So about 230 I ate my lunch, hummus, before I left for my psychirasit appt.  I was feeling a little off from the humus (had it many times before) but was OK.  I started drinking my protien drink and two drinks and was feeling off.  Good news, my therapist agrees, I don't need a anti depressent and the Claunapin (sp?) should address my "panic attacks".  He gave me a 30 day supply, which should last me 3 months or more. He also gave me lunesta to address the insomina.  So I am a happy woman.   I digress, I made it out to the car and was just feeling like crap.  My stomach was hurting and I was very weak and dizzy.  I called the surgeon's office and they told me to be in at 10am and they will get me in to see Dr. Halmi.  On my way home I got sicker and sicker.  My stomach hurt more and more.  I pulled over a couple of times and  my protien drink.  What little i drank.  Great, so now i am having problems with fluids.  I made it home in complete misery and pain.  I came in and laid down and the pain intensified to the point of tears.  The pain is in the middle of abdomen and at the bottom area of the ribcage.  It has to be wear the stomach is because when I drink it HURTS.   I had husband take me to the hospital.  They did crap for me, but give me morphin and zophin (anti-nausea meds).  They didn't give me any fluids, which is weird considering I CANT DRINK!!!  When they injected me with the morphin in the IV site it caused MAJOR pain in the the place it had been hurting.  Weird.  So they released me.  Seems like they did crap. They did some xrays, and everything looked fine.  The Doctor said  she did talk to Dr Halmi and he said it was OK to send me home but to call the office in the morning.  Well I am going in anyways.  So, I am off to bed and hoping I will feel better in the morning. ETA;  I did lose 10 more pounds. I am down 32 lbs since surgery.

Oh my.......you poor thing.  I swear it sounds like a stricture.  Fortunately, i dod not have one, but others who did experienced the same thing you are - including fluids. Definately get in to see your doctor and have him check you out, becuase it's got to be something. Get some rest and congrats on the weightloss!

Sounds like a stricture to me too for the most part.  I am sure Dr. Halmi will check it all out.  Do you still have your gall bladder?  That is the only other thing I can think could be the problem.  If the liquids & food is going down, just not staying down that could be the problem.  When mine went bad I had severe cramps in my abdomen, nausea, sweats.  Definitely talk to the Dr. about it.

Thank you Courtney.  Dr. Halmi removed my gallbladder a few years ago.  So I know that is not the problem.
