Still sick...... I am getting my fluids in.  I measured what I drank and I am getting more then enough.  One way I also check, when i was pregnant I was told I need to drink enough water that when I pee, it is the same color was the water....I am hitting that when I go. Well I had Non-Fat refied beans last night strait.  None of my extras.  4tblspn and I did not fini****  I ended up prayeing to the porcelin god. Today. I had my usual 4 oz of water as I get ready for work.  They water was hurting my pouch and making me queazy.  I decided, since I do wake up feeling dehydrated I was going to do my protien drink first then breakfast.  Well i had my 9 oz protien drink. Waited 30 minuted then had my 4oz Low fat cottage cheese.  Back to praying over the porcelin god.  What is happening???  I was doing just fine before.

Keep an eye on it today.  If still like this tomorrow, call the doc.  you may have a stricture - it's common. BUT....I just ate lunch and am having a hard time keeping it down.  I had some brown rice (a whopping 2 tablespoons) and I swear it i**** or miss.  Somethimes I can eat with without problems, and sometimes I am miserable. My co-workers mush think that I have an eating problem or something - haha.  So...I feel your pain!

Thanks Jill.  I am sorry Grouch is giving you problems the past couple of days.  I thought I was going to be fine.  No problems with any foods and my measured portion.  Well I guess Irma is going to call me a liar!  I hope your pouchy feels better.  I will see how I am doing and give the Dr a call if it is not better tomorrow.

Well...yesterday i went home, ate salad with no problems, ate a small amoutn of grilled chicken with no problems and had some high protein cereal (no milk...dry) with guess what....NO PROBLEMS.  Peanut butter (my addiction).....NO PROBLEMS! I swear that sometimes it acts this way just to remind me of who is the boss - hehe. Hope you are feeling better today, but definately call him it you have the same issues today - better safe than sorry!

Awww, hun! Ditto what Jill said...if it keeps on, a call to the doc would be worthwhile. I distinctly remember those days...some days Mrs. Nesbit (my pouch's name) would be very cooperative and others days not so much, and I was eating many of the same things you are. I just took it meal by meal, and even though I had many vomiting episodes I was still urinating and eliminating OK and keeping some things down, so my doctor wasn't too concerned. My two week and one month labs were OK as well. Your doctor may suggest differently, though. 9 ounces of protein drink with everything else you had may have been too much for pouchie to handle, even waiting 30 minutes until you had your cottage cheese...I know I make my protein drinks pretty thick and it takes a while for them to fully exit Mrs. Nesbit.  Hang in there!!! It will get better!

Oh, Melissa!  You may want to reduce your portion size this early out. No way I could do 4 oz of water followed by 9 oz of protein drink then 4 oz of cottage cheese at this point - that would take me more than 2 hours to get down. 2 oz of liquid per fifteen minutes and 15-20 minutes for 2 tbs refried beans or cottage cheese would be it for me.  I started with 4 oz protein drinks and took 30 minutes to sip them (counts as fluids!). Talk with your doctor or nutritionist about a schedule; the foods you're eating sound fine.  Take heart - you'll work it out! Cleo

Oh no, not at one time.  Let me clarify it a little.  This all happened between 6:45-10 am.  The Drinking did.  I drank 4oz from 645-8am.  And then the 9oz was from 830-10am.  Then I had my CC at 1030am.  So it was not in sitting.  I sip as I get ready in the morning and then sip on my way to work.  And then I sip at work.

Phew! You had me scared!  Hope the doc and nutritionist can help or maybe it's just the variability of GBS!

Definitely keep an eye on it, if you feel like you are having troubles with your liquids then it could be a stricture.
