Oh I am so sorry Teresa! I know when Connor used to have ear troubles - before his adenoids were removed and tubes put in his ears and it was heartbreaking to stay up all night with him when he was in pain.... since he had his adenoids out there have been no more recurrences thankfully....
I feel so bad for Cameron because when they are like that you would do anything to take away the pain!
I hope he is feeling better soon and you get him to the doctor's office on Monday......
We are thinking of him....

Hey Jackie. Thanks for replying. When Cameron had his 2nd set of tubes put in, I demanded that they remove the tonsils and adnoids, thinking it would make all the difference. It did for a while but..... And not sure if you know but the adnoids can grow back. Cameron had to have them removed again in November, 2008. Since then, he has had like 3 or 4 infections and these 2 abcesses make the 3rd since then. I am really getting frustrated with the entire situation.
Thanks for the well wishes and prayers.

Yes I know adenoids CAN grow back but do not always - thankfully that solved Connor's ear problems and they haven't grown back since - and his tubes are probably due for renewal but I am not going to renew rhem unless it is really necessary. I am not sure he really needed the tubes put in because he has not had an earache since they removed his adenoids. He goes back to the ENT doctor next month so we will see what he says. Having allergies also confuses issues and he is on constant all year round allergy medication. So we are either masking symptoms or keeping them at bay with his allergy medication....
It is so hard with kids because they can't always tell you exactly what is wrong or what they are feeling - I know Connor will answer yes to all the questions because he thinks that is what the doctor wants to hear - luckily the doctor knows this and throws in some trick questions and if Connor answers yes then he knows he doesn't have all the symptoms lol!
I can only imagne your frustration but stick witrh it because my neighbour did not and is not as stubborn as I am and by the time they gave her little boy tubes he was talking like a deaf person because all conversation he hears was muffled. He is speaking better now but needs speech therapy......... very sad.....
Hope Cameron is feeling a but better today...
Jackie
