Leo and I had such a good time with you Kat! You must come down to the beach for a visit! I'm doing the laundry thing today too. My son is going to his dads house in NJ for 6 weeks so it's packing time. I had an awesome massage on Friday afternoon and have had ZERO pain all weekend. It was soooo theraputic. Send some rain our way, we haven't even gotten a shower lately.

Hey Jen! SOOO great meeting/seeing ya'll! What a hoot you both are! I'm making my way down there in the very near future. Usually during summer its once in July then ALWAYS the weekend following my birthday in August. So, hopefully both come together! Oh wow! So pretty much having the house to yourself eh? My back is out of whack along with some neck spasms??? I am like what the heck? So, we'll see how this day goes. I've taken Tylenol but I need to see if its something more if it should keep up. I've had ONE massage (professionally) and wasn't that impressed frankly. But, I'd be willing to try it again if it relieves my tension. We got WONDERFUL thunderstorms last pm!!! Supposed to again today but its 83, VERY sunny and HOT out here. (Could just be my beauty radiating LMAO!) I think I got the "sleepy sillies" right now. Hugs ........

Great, great weekend in Sarah-land! The BBQ was awesome, of course, and then I came home and headed out to Capital Ale House to check out my friend's band, which is always fun. That is the only time you will find me staying out until 2 a.m......... Let's be honest, that's the only time you will find me staying out later than 9:30!

Sunday I drove back up 95 again to surprise my parents at Dulles. They've been in Africa for two weeks and I missed them sooooo much! They were surprised to see me, and I got to talk to them for a little while before they headed back home. I was really glad I went BUT...ok, driving on 95 and the Beltway is scary to start with. And, let me tell you. I'm just going to have to invest in a Garmin because I am HOPELESS at getting places. Between a loooooooong traffic back-up on 95 and my own misadventures (mostly my own misadventures - I did meet a nice "street concierge" in Maryland who stands in a gas station parking lot with a pad of paper and a pencil giving out directions), the 1 1/2 hour trip home took me FOUR HOURS. *sigh* I'm afraid I'm a hopeless moron. But it wasn't so bad actually.

Today I'm meeting Theresa for her birthday lunch so we can finally say it's her birthday! (I should be leaving right now - T - I may be a little late ) (shocker) Then I'm meeting with my new principal to talk about next year.

Since tomorrow, the day before my surgery, I can only have clear liquids, today is the last day that I will EVER be able to eat like a "normal" person. That's freaking me out a little bit.......

Thanks for the prayers! I always find a way to be all right! LOL glad you enjoyed everything for sure. Again, it was so nice to see you! Glad the band RAWKED too! I'm the same although I don't sleep well but I do have to find at least a few hours. You are NOT a hopeless moron. You got to see your parents and that was awesome and I am "directionally challenged" too. Don't tell me 64 or 95 this to that. I NEED landmarks. Once I drive it WITH someone and THEN alone I get it but mainly by landmarks. I mean be serious unless a house or Target or the gazillion 7-11 drop off the face of the Earth then I'll know it when I see it. Like Jackie's HAHAHAHA yep there is a 7-11 on the turn towards her place. Yep! SEE? Have fun at the birthday lunch! Tell T "hey" oh wait crap I already talked to her this am. Yes we will. If ya want, I can swing by and get you on my way to the hospital. I was thinking of going up there about 2'ish. To give her time to get out of recovery. Just let me know!

Sara, I read what you wrote about the last day that you'll be eating like a "normal person" and it freaking you out. Well, that is exactly how I feel. I'm starting my pre-op stuff tomorrow, and the reality is starting to sink in and that is freaking ME out. 

Good Evening, Kit Kat... Love your advatar!! Congratulations on your award! Sorry I missed the b-bque....car troubles for me that day. Yesterday and today were emotional and full of blahhs. Found out I made a major med error at work. The consumer who this was involved with, is fine. Know I have to find out what conduct offense is in store. Yesterday while in the main chatroom...I was cussed out for asking how a certain person was. I returned the comment by letting him know that I did npt deserve that. He was not kind, at all. Needless to say, I will not be returning to the chat room for some time. Hope that tomorrow will be better. Happy Tuesday to you! Cindy
