WELCOME TO MONDAY YA'LL!!!

Before I forget AGAIN I APPLAUD you tremendously for your work with Domestic Violence. I cannot tell you how much of a difference you and folks like you make in the community. I'll spare the story behind this but if it were not for Victim Witness (here locally) I would be lost. They are both amazing as are the folks who fallen prey to Domestic Violence. KUDOS in a MAJOR way from my heart to yours Melissa! Hugs........

I missed this, thank you Kat!  I really appreciate it.  My dream is to become a Forensic Psychologist and work with SA and DV.  My focus is on education, prevention and advocacy.  I work wonderfully with teens.  I love teens and they are amazing creatures.  My husband helped a woman who is in an unhealthy situation today.  i was glad that he took the steps he did, so she could get the help she needs.  From my understand she is, so I am very happy.

Don't let that dream fade. Its such an important role to be played. I TRULY believe it starts at home and when it doesn't there are folks like you and others *****ally step up to the plate and make others realize early on they are WORTH something and shouldn't be judged by unfortunate events. Seriously I hope you continue with this dream. :)

Good morning Sunshine!  Before I go any further, I wanna tell you I just love the new avatar.  Kat, I'm very proud of you.  You really earned that award...I hope you display that statue somewhere prominent in your home.  I too was a bit pooped out but managed to get outside & did some major sweating while tackling the weeds in the veggie garden.  There's more to grab so I plan on getting back out there.  Wish I could do it nekid...too hot for clothes! LOL  I am so looking forward to seeing everyone at my house this weekend.  I have lots of fun things planned that will get everybody moving, kids & adults alike.  So, Happy Monday!!

Morning Ann, Aww thank you beautiful! I plan to no worries! I just to place it strategically so that the buggas don't try to swipe it. I know this is a little much but I've been carrying it around me with like I won an Oscar. Honest it means THAT much to me! I'm winking BEFORE I type then but just so you know the buggas are ALREADY freaking out! KIDS!

Hey Katters! I'm glad you had a good time this weekend. I really need to get back into this site and I'm going to do my best to. So many changed faces and new ones too! I can't wait for you to bring your little butt down to the beach so you can hang with us! Monday is going as expected, thankfully I have Reggie (Sveg) read me pages 86-88 from my Big Book on the way to work, its a great way to start my day! I needed it too, the bldgs are a mess down here from all the rain and I'm stuck with Crawl & The Nazi, everyone else has abandoned ship! Haha. Yay for 4 day work weeks!  What are your plans for the weekend?

Morning AmB, Sooooo dang great to see you here girl! How was your weekend? Please keep coming around here! LITTLE BUTT???? LOL I WISH! I AM going to get down there. Let's just say I was worried about stepping on all these dang egg shells but I'm NOT anymore. Folks don't know it but this past weekend a lot of what others said sank in my brain and YOU woman your reply to my blog hit my gut HARD this am. Btw, I NEED to get my hands on that book and read it cover to cover again. You're lucky in the sense you've got "meets" there you actually enjoy. Here it sucketh badly. :( I've talked to you about it a bit. I hope Crawl & Nazi buzz off to their planets and zip it! My weekend gets started Thursday pm with me & friends going to din din and seeing some live music at the Pour House here in Short Pump. (Anyone wants details and is wanting to go PM me or email me for those who have my email and I'll give ya the details) Then driving to Ann's Friday EARLY am (KAT LOATHES TRAFFIC IN THE WORST KIND OF WAY) and veggin' there. YOU? Whatcha doing? Heart u darling!

I just hope my responses can help in someway because you are SO not alone in any of that. We all go through it. I'm always here for you, especially in that department. I'm sorry to hear that it sucks out there, I've heard of some great ones, maybe you can msg me about where you've been and I can find some recommendations from some of my peeps here. I have a lot that travel back and forth alot.  I'm not sure what I'm doing this weekend. I thought about taking Thursday off and having a 5 day weekend, but Reggie has to work Thursday so we can't go anywhere until Friday anyway. I might as well just work and save my leave. I'm taking the 15th off for the Warped Tour anyway. I can't wait! More than likely we'll just do our regular Friday/Sat mtgs and then BBQ at our friends house as usual. Lots of concerts going on at the boardwalk, we may walk down there. I refuse to drive/park  in that madhouse! I think its Survey Time! Hahaha!

Morning Beautiful!!!  So glad you had such a great weekend!  Mine was fabulous too!  Enjoyed the time with my hubby & girlies, loved spending some time with my dad & stepmom too!  Did forget to put the sunblock on my back yesterday so I am hurting some today, using lots of aloe so hopefully it will help.  Tonight I am sure will be a rest & relax night as me & hubby are pretty worn out.  Have a gret one!  Love you much!
