I hit pay dirt....

I went shopping today to grab a couple of things and walked out with $200 worth of stuff.  Not bad through. They had their turkey meat on sale!!  Ground lean turkey meat $1.71 a package. They had Lean turkey breakfast links for like $1.88.  And their Turkey brwats and sausage for like $2.79.  I about cleaned them out of everything.  They had some other meats stuff for real cheap that I got.  I have a deep freezer that has almost nothing in, so I had plenty of room to put the meats in.   Oh my, the kids are driving me nuts today though.  I am about to run away.  LOL, no they need to get ther butts outside and burn off this extra energy.

I've SO been meaning to look into a freezer so I can do the same thing.  We rarely have meats in the house because the freezer space is little and the sales prices few.  Glad you found such good bargains and were able to stock up!

Hey Lauren...if you'd be interested, I have a chest freezer that I'd be willing to part with.  It's the perfect size for the two of you.  We can discuss price privately.  Then I can go get the upright freezer I've been wanting.  PM me is you're interested.  Hey...ummm....you could come Saturday & pick it up...hint, hint! LOL

Thank you so much for thinking of me Ann.  I do wish I could come and also buy the freezer from you, but it's not going to work out for this coming weekend.  :(  I'm really dissapointed that he has put the kabash on my fun time, but in addition to the gas prices and all right now, we really need to take the long weekend to attempt to get something down around the house.  I don't get much vacation time at work, so i need to utilize the long weekend that we are staying in town to my advantage.  I know you'll have a blast with everyone who is coming!!  Thank you again.  :)

We've gotta mini freezer and we freeze veggies from the garden in it as well as keeping meats and such. They are GREAT investments and really serve a purpose when there are sales such as the one you caught. GOOD FOR YOU! My buggas are behaving nicely today! WAHOOOOOOO!
