Well....it's another scorcher out there today. So, stay hydrated and be safe.
So...what are YOU doing to move today???
Me? Absolutely NOTHING! Ha! I worked my rear off last night. I burned over 950 calories doing 3 - 45 minute classes last night and my body is saying that it needs a rest. So...it's getting a rest today.
Until tomorrow.....stay safe....stay hydrated...stay moving!

Seriously I pushed myself HARD last pm so today I'm gonna still get my work out but my God I'm aching. Just not gonna push as hard today so we'll see. Its BEAUTIFUL out here. I've been sitting out here since EARLY this am and I gotta say there is NOTHING like watching the sun rise over a cuppa! Lots of us walkers out this am too might I add. Its real nice having folks to say "morning" to and all of us moving and such.

Well, I have to say I have been lazy, lazy, lazy for two weeks! I have been feeling burned out and unmotivated, possibly because the scale has stopped moving and I am struggling to get the snacking demons under control. I still have about 12 pounds left to lose (10 to get to surgeon's goal) and the scale ain't budging. I did purchase a new pair of New Balances at $140, and signed up for two 5Ks this fall...those things should get my butt back into gear to get my money's worth out of those shoes! Bad, bad, bad Dawn!
A Friday off work - WOOHOO - so I took it easy. Right!
Let's see...strength training then a pilates class then a golf lesson (notice - all this stuff was INSIDE in the cool!). Then I went and ruined it all and hit 112 golf balls outside! Luckily it was at Langley and as always the wind was blowing in from the Back River. Good cooling effect, but it was coming in the wrong direction for my drives! I'm sure that's what was holding the ball up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
