The pouch is a funny thing...

Everytime I try something new, mainly protien my pouch act weird.  I take a drink then fill full and odd. LOL  It is like hmm, what is this??  I was tired of the regular profect 50g protien.  I do not like it and wanted something different.  I am suppose to supplement 50g a day.  I had ordered the trial bag from bariatic eating, so I got that out and went through the bag.  I found this one thing that had like 40g in it.  So I drank that over 3 hours.  I was OK, not worth buying or rememebring.  So i had 10g to get in.  I got the trial packet of Nectar with half a serving packets.  I had the Kiwi Straberry.  OMG!!!  It is so good and has been the best protein I have tasted so far.  I can tolerate anything.  But this I enjoyed!!  My stomach was catious on it but was fine.  I just got done ordering 3 diffrent flavors in nectar.  I can not wait to get it in.   I start mushies tomorrow morning!!  YEAH!!  I am having an egg with cheese and salsa and 2 tbsp of fruit for breakfast.  For lunch I am having tuna with light mayo and maybe more fruit.  I still supplement 50 grams of protien.  I am so excited to eat food.  It is funny what will fill us up.  I just had 4 oz of milk sprinkled with unjury vanilla powder.  I am full from it.

I have heard great things about Nectar -- haven't tried it myself, even though I have some at home.  I guess I need to break it open!  Mushies were very exciting to me, too.  Amazing how our perspective changes, huh?  hehe  :)

Hi Melissa - you are really doing well with your program! It is certainly amazing what will fill us up in the beginning. Enjoy this stage as it does not last for nearly long enough......... lol! Good am Melissa, I've tried the Nectar's in different flavors and they are really good (this coming from a NON POWDER gal). Its one of the more tolerable protein supplements I've used, tried and will use again. Glad its working out for you. :) All best with moving to the mushies stage!

Enjoy those mushies!  It is so important to get a protein (or a few) that you enjoy & can make use of. 

My pouch must be very unsensitive.  I haven't had any issues.  I bought the Cappicino Nectar, and didn't like it at all.  I will have to try a fruit flavor.

I love nectar too.  Well, I really only like one flavor on a regular basis - Nectar Naturals Orange.  It tastes close to Sunny D for me.  I can only find the Nectar Naturals through vitalady.com.  She sells samples if you ever want to try some of the other flavors out there.  :)
