Hey Jackie, Thanks so much! I HAVE to share it and I know that more than ever now. I've met some wonderful folks who are struggling and I am so blessed to be able to share my story with them and be there if they need me and maybe even when they don't. Alcohol is my addiction but still there are others with addictions that carry the same emotions, feelings, etc. I am learning a lot about myself and a lot about others and addiction itself. Thanks for letting me speak at the support group meeting. I was a bit nervous but I just let it flow and that others were touched and I got things out was just amazing. It does do a great thing for me (and others) to talk about things in a support setting. Its tough sometimes when the spotlight is on say drugs and alcohol because there is smoking, shopping, sexual, etc. I've been fortunate to be able to meet some of the kewlest people and learn from their experiences and so of our very own folks here and I am truly honored they share their stories and share so candidly their struggles. Its wonderful to know I'm not alone. But, there were darker days which lead me to believe that. I'm surely counting my blessings. Hugs to you!

I understand Kat but when you open yourself up you also open up areas of vulnerabiltiy and that is phenomenal that you open up your heart to all of us and warn us iof the dangers - even to those who are not far out yet  - they are listening and paying attention because it can happen to any one of us - we all have addictive personalities or we would never be here! And also why we all have such a close bond too. Thamk you once again for opening and sharing..... you are certainly not alone! Jackie

No way is 10 months "just another month"! Congratulations, girl!!!!!!!! That's a phenomenal accomplishment each and every day. We all know that you are an inspiration to us, and I'm sure that you are to the buggas too. They must be so proud of their mama! (or, if they're too young to understand, they will be) They are lucky to have you, just as we are
