I need some help!  I am still in the pureed food phase, and am running out of ideas for breakfast.  I have been having scrambled egg with a little cheese, or cottage cheese with fruit mixed in, or FF yogurt.  Could you share some of your favorites with me?  Thanks!!!

Since you are still at the pureed foods stage, you have few options, but here are a few for you:

Take plain yogurt (such as Fage 0% fat) and add 1 - 2 tablespoons of chocolate (or other flavor) protein powder.  Great way to jazz up the yogurt and to bump up the protein.

Ricotta cheese with a tsp of sugar free raspberry preserves

No sugar added applesauce ( they even have them in flavors) You might be able to do watered down oatmeal or cream of wheat.  I would check with your doc first.  And when I say watered down, I mean....watered down. But, hang in there......

You are kind of limited but remember just cause it is breakfast time doesn't mean you have to eat breakfast foods.  Oatmeal & Cream of wheat would be my only other suggestions.

Sounds like bordom is setting in ?  This can happen and is when we need to break out of creativiness.  Give this a whirl ...  Pureed Crambled eggs - mixed with chili . You can make your own chili or use one that is FF.  Mix this is the blender until smooth . It gives the eggs a mexican flavor .  Take your cottage cheese , mix in some Sugar Free Jello powder . I use Orange or Strawberry . Use it to taste . Start out with maybe a teaspoon , and taste it as you go .  Hope this helps .  Nat
