Fage yogurt

I am trying this Fage yogurt everyone talks highly of.  I love the protein content but can't seem to tolerate the taste!  I have added Splenda and some crushed up strawberrie and blueberries and still it is kind of "plain".  Any suggestions on this?  Like I said, I really want to try it other ways because it is full of protein with little sugar.  Thanks in advance!  Susan  :)

Hi Susan, I add sugar free jello pudding - a couple of big teaspoons as well as sweetner -  I like banana, chocolate fudge or butterscotch flavors ......... that makes them delicious - at least to me.... Jackie

Susan-- I add Splenda plus some of the Bare Naked Granola to mine a couple of days a week. It adds texture, and they come in several great flavors. I like the chocolate. Very low sugar too. And it really fills you up for very few calories. If I eat it at 7 it is close to 10 before I have my next meal (and I am a 6 meal a day guy!)

I had weight loss surgery. I did it the easy way.

Bare Naked Granola?  Where do you buy that?  I have checked out granola and all that I have seen has to much sugar/carbs.   The Jello idea is great also!  I will try that, Yummy!   Thanks guys!  Susan  :)

Misspelled it. Sorry. It is Bear Naked granola. http://www.bearnakedgranola.com/ I have gotten it at Farm Fresh and Harris Teeter. Since you're on the Peninsula, I'd check Trader Joe's too.

Hi, Susan: I add fresh fruit, Kashi Go Lean and ground flax seed to mine (along with Splenda), and it really adds a lot of flavor to it, not to mention even more nutritional value than the plain yogurt.  It took me a couple of times of trying the yogurt to appreciate it...and now I LOVE it.  Good luck!  :)

I am so glad you posted this. I have tried yogurt before and was repulsed but I think it is time I try it again, post WLS. And I am glad that everyone is sharing their ideas. More protein will definitely only do good! Hope you are doing well!

I add Splenda, strawberries (or blurberries) and a smidge of vanilla.  Like you...I'm not a fan of the tartness.

I'm so glad you posted this question.  I finally found Fage in the new organic section of our Food Lion.  I bought it but had no idea what to do with it.  I'm going to try Jackie's idea first.  :)
