Well if you are belching then some of it is coming out. As the others said, walking helps. As long as you don't go a few days with no BM & no gas then I wouldn't be too worried yet.

I was so gassy and my stomach tight for a good week and a half. It took me over a week to have a BM. And that was with the assistance of suppositories. I think your systme slows way down from the anesthia. You system should jump start soon. :)
