SEAFOOD SAFETY

While I was in Key West I had the opportunity to eat a lot of seafood. All local to the island. I had raw oysters - and yes I eat them raw. I had grouper - chillien sea bass - mahi - mahi - tuna - .  Please make sure that the seafood you choose looks good . Make sure it does not have an overwhelming fish smell .  Always ask the server where it comes from - and did it arrive frozen or fresh .  Our new stomachs are very sensitive . I for one have gotten really sick on shrimp and will never do that again.  Take a look at this article from Sparks . I hope it helps you in your decision to eat that great wonderful seafood . Remember Seafood is high on the BV Scale for Protein !!

Very interesting information thanks for sharing. Also the other day I get bored easy w/ foods so I was having some chicken breast (canned) and added hidden valley ranch salad dressing (low fat) to it  and it was better than mayo and added a different taste to it  as well I used it in tuna so if you want a change up.

Good am Natalie, I LOVE seafood and eat it 3-4 times a week. I'm always very cautious about it. Thanks!
