My Visit to Disney and Beyond ...
2 weeks ago, myself , Alan and his daughter embarked on a vacation like no other to Florida.
We started off going to Disney in Orlando. I can honestly say , I finally got to feel what a child does when he or she visits this magical place . I was so amazed at it all . I went there to see Tinkerbell. And I overdosed I think. I spent over 2 hours in the Tink Shop , and brought back some of the neatest Tinkerbell memorabilia than I have ever seen .
We stayed all day and visited other parks but found our way back to the Magic Kingdom for the fireworks . I sat there like a child with tears in my eyes. I was not prepared to see Tink come from the top of the castle and lost it. This was amazing !!
I felt so good all day physically . It was one of the first days in a long time that I had great stamina . I was so scared that I would need extra meds, but I found that I maintained and was able to really enjoy this adventure.
We left Disney Wednesday, and made our way to Boca to see his parents. We spent time with Alan's Mom and Dad. I was so glad to see Dad's health improving.
While there , I found Dad's fishing pole . I decided I would try my hand at fishing. They live 5 feet from the Inter coastal Waterway . And fish I did . I caught the first night a 20 pound Yellow Jack. This wore me out as he fought me for about 45 minutes and drug my line around like crazy . I really enjoyed this and had forgotten how much fun it was . I will be getting me a new fishing pole to use around here .
Monday of this week we headed down to Key West. This was one of the most beautiful drives I have ever taken . The water was crisp and blue , and you could see forever . We spent all day down at Key West , took a tour and ate at some really great places . One was called the Conch Republic. I had raw oysters and grouper . It was simply delish !!
As we walked around Key West, I noticed that Roosters ruled. Roosters and Chickens were everywhere. They were beautiful ! We stayed in downtown for while and then headed back to the hotel . Pooped as ever. Tuesday however was filled with a snorkeling adventure out on the Great Reef . I am still in awe of the beauty that lies beneath the seas. After that adventure we headed back to Boca . We celebrated Alan's Dads birthday. He had not been out of the house like this in over 2 years. This was a milestone for him. We were so glad to be a part of it .
Well we are home now . I am trying to unpack and get my things back in order to go back to the real world .
I have been so blessed to be able to do these things. As 4 years ago , I would have never thought to do this , nor would I have been able to .
Glad to be home , but I truly miss Florida . Enjoy the pictures !

You can certainly tell by your written description & the photos that a good time was had by all. I want to go back to DW too, after I've reached goal. My one & only visit I had to rent an electric cart to get around. Next time I wanna do it under my own steam. Did you see the Tree of Life? I just loved that!!! Anyway, welcome home.
