I never thought I would get home. I was in the hospital for a week after the open rny on June 2nd. I was shipped off the icu after surgery due to the bottom of my lungs were collapsed (scariest thing ever). The staff at the hospital (St Marys) was so nice and made it a little easier. I am just glad to be at home and appreciate all the emails of good wishes. I still ask for the prayers. I am on oxygen at home still and want to be able to get off so I can start a healthy lifestyle. I know it will all come in time. I go to see Dr Hutcher on Monday and see what the next step is. Once again. thanks everyone! Brooke

Brooke!! So glad to see you are home and recovering! Thank erin so much for our updates on your progress. I know this has been very scary for you but hopefully the moving forward will be much brighter and easy days lie ahead. :) I'm still praying for you and for a fast recovery.
