My surgery is on the back burner until when i do not know . We found out  this past Monday my husband has Prostate Cancer . We have an appt on the 25th to discuss "options" It is in the early stage but non the less something must be done & soon . Do i feel realllllllllllly selfish  OH YES am i mad OH YES  !  I do love him with allllll of my being but can we just get a break here  ?  I would be DEVASTATED without him .......he also  lost his job on  2-9-08  . At the risk of getting blasted i need it to be MY  turn for something POSITIVE  for a change  ! ! !

Oh sweetie! You poor darling. I am definitely going to pray for your husband and your entire family. I can not imagine what you all are going through. But through God, great things do happen and anything is possible. I know you are bummed about your surgery but remember.... Everything happens for a reason.... When it is the right moment, it will happen. Right now, hubby needs you and it is obvious you love him and will be right there. When it is your turn... because you were there for hubby... hubby WILL be there for you!! If you need to talk, please message me. Big hugs!!!

LeeAnne- Sounds like a completely natural reaction....you're doing the right thing though. Hang in there...your time is coming. Everything happens at the exact right time.

Good am, My thoughts & prayers are with you and your husband. My thoughts on this are just like having a baby there is never the "right" time to do things. They come when they want to. Much like with surgery; you are going to find its never the right time, road blocks will come up but sometimes you have to put yourself first and things will fall into place. Not selfish to care about yourself and your health. Your husbands is just as important but at the same time I feel your frustration. Turn it into determination and find a path together. All best!

That is such much to be going through. I will pray for you and your family. And your emotions are natural. I probably would feel the same way

No blasting here!  I think we all go through this in life.  We just want a break and want it to be about us for awhile.  Sounds like you all have a lot going on & putting your surgery ont he back burner is probably the best for now.  You & your hubby are in my thoughts & prayers.

I am so sorry to hear the news about your husband.  It sounds like you two have had a lot to deal with.  Life sure does throw in a lot of curves at times, doesn't it?  Hopefully the doctors can get things taken care of with your husband ASAP and you can get back to planning on taking care of YOU.  In the meantime, we are here!  Hang in there.
