Since Mike & Matt will be gone for 5 days over 4th of July holiday (July 2-6), I will have Antonio all to myself. Well, I can't have that, now can I? Sooooo, Kat & I were yakking on the phone today & I would like to extend an invitation to whomever would be interested, to come to Middletown to my house. I have a huge yard plus two pastures so theres plenty of room for parking & playing. I have 2 gas grills & one charcoal grill. I have horseshoes. Everybody could/should bring some sort of water dispersing device, i.e., super soakers, squirt guns, water balloons, kiddie pool. If you have tents/campers & wish to stay the night, that would be ok too. So for now, I just wanna see how much interest there might be. Time to sound off.

Oh wow....how I would love to chuck work and school and spend the week camping out with all of you! Maybe I can come for the weekend....what would the fireworks situation be? I love me some fireworks. I need some fun.....keep me posted on the final plans....I may just be game if even for a long day trip.

Well, nice response so far. As for dates, those that wish to camp could arrive Friday & stay till Sunday. Those wishing only a day trip could arrive Saturday morning & plan on the whole day. This could be a fun family event...kids welcome. I do, however, ask that you leave pets at home. I already have 3 dogs...really don't wanna introduce unknown dogs to them, but they are VERY people & kid friendly!!! As for fireworks, Middletown has a nice show, as does Strasburg & plenty of them in Winchester. Gee...can't wait to see how many more jump on board.

This sounds like so much fun! I'm waiting for my work to announce what our time off schedule will be for the July 4th weekend (last year they gave us an extra long weekend...) because I might consider traveling "home" (or rather back) to Connecticut to visit with family. If I don't end up traveling I will try and make it. Thank you for the open invite! :)
