Just stopping by....

Oh we all worried about that Melissa - a couple of days before surgery I developed a honking big pus filled cold sore smack in the middle of my top lip!!  It looked like I had a beak! I was dealing with the cardiologist then and he prescribed something really strong for it and it helped but was still there when I had surgery... Just relax and don't invent worries when they are not there!!! lol! Jackie

Good am Melissa, Glad to hear from you. I would try and plan ahead and maybe consider leaving the party for a bit to take care of YOU! Its a minor thing in the big picture of your journey so well worth the sacrifice. Keeping busy helps me tremendously just don't forget you have to take care of you in order to take care of others! Good news, plans have changed once again for the party.  It is back at my mother's neurotic parinoid freak of boyfriend's house agian.  I will be able to rest from working Friday night and access to warm water and a pool!  What more could I ask for?  Hopefully, he won't change his mind agian, but I will not hold my breath.

Sounds like normal one week to go nerves to me.  Enjoy the busy week, it will help keep your mind off of things.

Hi Melissa, as someone who is still recovering from surgery 5/30/08, I can tell you I had the pre-op jitters as well. Just go in there and do it as you will be so glad about yourself afterward and all the ladies here gave me he push I needed and I'm so grateful I listened to them. Hang in there and we will see ya on the other side....Jim
