Sleep study
I don't have sleep apnea but my best guess is they will tell you what comes next - whether you need a CPAP machine or not - then your insurance should tell you what they do or do not cover.......
But someone who has been diagnosed will know better than I do - I just didn't want you to think we were ignoring you...

I am a patient at another office in Richmond. My diagnosis went like this:
initial appt with sleep disorder center, two sleep studies - diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, "prescription" was written for a cpap machine and what pressure it should have along with a referral to a place that sells and maintains cpap machines (different than the sleep disorder doctors office), that company processed my prescription and found out what my benefits were, I received my machine maybe a few weeks later. I honestly can't remember if I paid a co-pay or not, or even a portion of the machine? But I must have faired well because I don't remember any big bills. Under my insurance plan I am allowed to get a new mask and headgear about every 6months. But if I ever needed any filters or anything else in the meantime it was affordable.
Good luck!
