I never learned how to ride a bike as I fell and hurt my back... but am so wanting to learn now as an adult.. BUT.. Any tips on how to go about doing that? I also have this CRAZY urge to do a mini triathalon....in the future....  I found some beginner pool work out routines... so I may start doing those... and do a mini at the gym with stationary bike... NUTS I tell you NUTS.. I laugh and get giddy at the thought of doing a Tri.... Also, DH and I MAY be going Skydiving in Illinois this summer... WOWZER!!

I really want to do one of the Nike Women marathon or events... I think there is a Tri Series that is held in the MD/DC/VA Area... It's women focused as well.... Yay for healthy strong kick ass women!!

You're not crazy unless scores of the rest of us are too! :-) I'm even willing to try to train with you! Sally Myers (the gal that runs the Staple Club support group) is doing a mini-triatalon sometime soon I think....you should get in touch with her. (PM me her for her email address.)

I don't think it's nuts at all.  You are so ambitious!  Just start off small and learn to ride around the neighborhood, then set your sites on the tri-ath!!
