June 6th - June's Accountability Challenge
How's everyone doing today? Ready to work towards success????
How are we doing with your goals? It's day 6, is anyone struggling???? Is your motibvation getting low??? Just know....you can do this! You are strong and have the ability to meet your goal! I have faith in YOU!!!!
Ok...time to check in.....Let's see:
Goal 1: Journalling - Not too good yesterday. I figured it would be a challenge with all of the errands and such. Will try to do better today.
Goal 2: Snacking/Healthy Choices - I did pretty good with this one yesterday. However, I missed lunch and found myself hanging out in the kitchen at 400, picking here and there. So, I decided it was time to fix dinner and eat dinner early. Today, I need to make sure that I bring something with me, just in case.
Goal 3: Physical Activity - Well, I went to the kickboxing class yesterday, but the instructor did not show up after 15 minutes, so I left - had other things to do. I did, however, go to the Stripper's Heel Camp and Stripper's Stretch. So, I got those in. Today I plan to either kickbox or go to spin class to get in some intense cardio for today.
Goal; 4: My scrapbooking...UGH! I got home late last night, so did not get any done. I do, plan to work on something this morning for 1 hour. In fact....getting ready to start that right now.
Ok...your turn. How are YOU doing???

So I run like a Girl....now keep up!
Well I am feeling a bit better today - not well enough to do a lot of exercise but have my snacking under control - my step throat helped that because I did not really want to eat so that is good and has helped me make better choices....
Hopefully back to full strength by the end of the weekend! If our pool passes come I jntend to be up at the pool getting some exercise in the water.....

Well, I don't do a strippers class or heel training, journal or scrapbook, but golly, it is enlightening to see the schedule you undertake.
I have worked on getting better at golf. I have progressed from a substitute to a 4th spot player on a 4 person team in our Fort Lee Garrison Thurdays evening golf league. I had my best 9 hole game ever yesterday (takes about 2-3 hrs) and missed making par by 1 stroke on 3 differet holes (an immediate goal) I dropped 9 strokes from my best previous score. My oldest daughter, brother, and sister have taken up the game since they learned I was taking it serious last Christmas. Thats kinda cool.
A guy at work (300+) has asked me about walking with him at lunchtime at work which I am doing. It has gotten me back out there since my latest 3 week drought and he misses frequently enough that I still some joging in. He has lost 4 pounds this week and hopes to break the 300 barrier by Monday. He has type II diabetes and sleep apnea but swears he can lose his weight without surgery. This is the same spot he was at 3 months after my surgery 09/06 when I startd walking at lunchtime and he walked with me. Eventually I was going out to regularly and going too far and he dropped out. I am hoping he has beter success this time. I enjoy trying to keep him motivated and aid him in his success. We have also meet about and I gave him materials on improving his nutritional intake. Lastly, our poo memebrship processing has died down to a manageable level since Memorial day opening so that my distration has leveled off and my run for City Council locally has plateued with my financial report for the last period going in and y campain yard signs, large raod-side signs, and bumper stickers getting designed, approved, ordered, and received as of yesterday. After I get my 100 firework mortar tubes built (hopefuly this weekend) for the family gathering display this year with four graduates (3 from college and one from HS; 2 of them my girls), I should taper back down to a more mundane routine.
You guys just keep being successful. I get out to read your posts with some frequency and still enjoy seeing how everyone is doing.
I was gonna try to come to Jackies' BBQ and Seminar, then I got an invite for my uncle and aunt's 50th wedding anniversary, on the same date from 12-3 in Petersburg; family first.
Good pm Jill,
I've been documenting my goals each day on my profile. I've chosen that route as a daily "thing" I have promised myself I'd do. To be honest it just clicked in my brain that I've not put ANY "rewards" down either on paper or in my profile for accomplishing my goals each day and/or for the month of June. I suppose I should be thinking about those shouldn't I? I have been jam packed with activities filling my time so that I don't mess things up (long story) and I've been focusing on myself and others and its all coming together. I see areas of work I need to tackle so other than the "rewards" part I'm keeping up with my goals for June. Gonna tweak a few things but otherwise I'm doing well.
