THANK GOODNESS ITS FRIDAY YA'LL

Good am, How are ya'll doing? How was your Thursday? Mine/ours? Jam packed AGAIN and just the way I like it. Got a LOT done; got work done, several loads of laundry, caught up on a ton of emailing, worked on some To Do List projects, made some phone calls, gave things to God, watched some spiffy TV (horror gal here) and hoped for a good night's sleep but it didn't happen. :( Oh well, there's always this pm right? What's on the books for your Friday & weekend? I've already walked my 2 miles this am. I took the time just for me and it was fabulous. Today's high is to be 96 and its already 69 here. We finally cut the AC on yesterday (not my choice as I LOVE nature but me and the buggas asthma is not nice to us). Getting work done, chores, hoping for a few things to fall into place and hopefully getting in some nature time this pm. As for the weekend, its up in the air right now. I've got things I want to do but we'll see. Its to be 100 degrees on Saturday. Haven't viewed Sunday forecast yet. Hope everyone enjoys their Friday & weekend! Hugs and all that jazz!

Good Morning, Sunshine.... Well, I'm off again today and have LOTS to do.   Family begins to arrive later this afternoon, so I need to get things straightened up.  I'm hoping to go the base today to take a spin class, then lots of errands to pick up stuff for my son's HS graduation party for tomorrow. Then, I have to start preparing food and have to go to Costco tonight. Everyone will be a bit surprised, because with the exception of the cake, this party is going to be very much on the healthy side with many sugar free items.  I bought sugar free punch, lemonaide and tea.  There will be no soda. I'm doing turkey burgers, boca burgers, mushroom garlic veggie burguers, Healthy Choice hot dogs, white wheat buns, sugar free waldorf slaw, mock potato salad, baked beans made with Splenda and turkey bacon, BBQ Baked Lays, pretzels, veggie tray, fruit bowl, mixed nuts, and my sister is doing her famous german potato salad (my son's favorite), but will be lightening it as much as she can. The cake, of course, is the Costco chocolate cake with cheesecake int he middle.  I splurged there and plan to have a very small piece of it (like a few bites size) because I can dump on that very easily. Some of my family will be irritated by it, but many will not be.  Not only do they support my efforts, but they, themselves, are doing Weigh****chers and was concerned about the food.  So, I made it easier for them. But, that's about it for me..... Hope you have a GREAT day!  Stay cool.....

 

PS:  Like you..we turned on the AC.  I wasn't very happy about it as I like having the windows open to air out the house from the Winter.  But, it was just WAY too hot to not to.

Good pm Jill, Hope you've gotten things accomplished as you've hoped to! I need to make a trip to Costco and run some other errands so I may do that later in the weekend. Nothing pressing really. Your menu sounds fantastic and if it were me, I'd be super impressed and thankful for the wide variety of healthy choices! Often times friends & fam still don't get it that's why I'm always prepared personally in case things don't work for me. YES! I am very much an open window, nature gal so its a bummer bout the AC. If it were just me they'd still be open with fans on high cause I HEART au naturale but the buggas and their asthma and mine don't need added aggravation. Enjoy your weekend! Good Morning Beautiful!!!!  So glad it is Friday here.  Last night was pretty hectic.  We had some kid issues (teenage girls & hormones), ran some errands, a late dinner, time outside, etc.  So far my Friday has not started well.  I have been up since 4.  Hubby woke up not feeling well, I got woken up & was not able to go back to sleep.  I read some, tried to rest, did some laundry, got ready for work & here I am.  Not sure if I will be able to make it all day or not.  We are supposed to be having dinner with some friends tonight, not sure I am really wanting to do that as I will probably be exhausted but I may have to suck it up.  On the books for the weekend, well it's hubby's weekend off & we have a soccer tournament to attend, so lots of time outside in the nasty heat.  Water will be my good friend.  Saturday night is an open house party for a friend's graduating daughter.  So we do have a busy weekend planned, hopefully I will get some rest in there.  Have a great one!!  Love you lots!!!!

Good afternoon beautiful!  I just got off from work and am getting ready to leave for my nephews graduation at the Siegal Center here in Richmond.  Boy, is it a HOT one!  Lots of water coming with me.  Nothing special planned for tonight, but you never know what may come up.  Tomorrow, Steve and I are planning to go to the river with some friends and then Sunday is off to Busch Gardens with Kara and some of her friends.  She FINALLY got on all of the rollar coasters (with the peer pressure of her boyfirend) last weekend and is now a fanatic about riding them, just like me!  I love them and can't wait to get on the next one and now she is begging to go as well.  I cut the grass last night so I could avoid the heat of this weekend and doing it and overheating.  This weekend will be about family time and relaxing.  My AC has been on for over a month.  With my dads health we have to have it on early so it feels really good now.  Well, we are off to go and stand in the heat.  Will post as soon as I can.  Love you! Good pm Tammy, Hope the graduation goes wonderfully. I feel for you being in the city. Personally I just don't care for it unless its at night, with live music, great friends, good eats and good convos. Its a joyous occasion what you're attending so hopefully it won't be TOO bad traffic wise. Sounds great going to the river. Heat advisories are in effect to protect you and yours. Hugs & love!
