this is not working for me. It is not the hunger issue that is bothering me.  It is the shakes.  My stomach is not liking them at all.  I dred drinking them.  I get so nasueated from drinking them and my stomach is in a constant state of unrest. I get very bloated and gassy and have diarreah.  I had to make me chicken broth yesterday with a bullion cube to settle my stomach.  I can deal OK with the bar and the soup they give is fine.  It is the shakes that my stomach does not like.  I treid calling the nut, but she is in another office today.  maybe I will try calling there.

That is how I feel when I drink milk products.  I'm lactose intolerant.  Have you ever noticed problems with drinking milk or eating dairy products before now?  Maybe trying a different type of protein would do the trick.  Call your dr's office or nutirtionist and see what your other choices are.  Make sure they give you a couple of choices that have only whey protein ISOLATE (not concentrates) and that should solve it if it's a lactose intolerance.  I was really fortunate, that the slimfast shake I drank during my pre-op was tolerable, even though it had lactose in it.  Unfortunately, post surgery my sensitivity got worse.  I hope you can get this sorted out and your tummy stop doing somersaults!
