Please pray for Brooke (Mom2Alex)

Hi everyone, Last time I updated you everything was looking okay after Brooke's surgery.  Wellll, on Tuesday morning I went to the hospital, and after she took a short walk everything went crazy.  She had been having some breathing problems the night before but it started to get really bad-she was on both a face tent and nose prongs and her oxygen was only sitting at 83.  She had a temperature of 101.3, her blood pressure was really high, and her heartbeat was all over the place.  They decided to do a CAT scan to clear any blood clot worries, which thank god came back clear.  They moved her to the ICU early Tuesday afternoon.  My family and I have never been so worried, she looked so sick.  Tuesday and Tuesday night were the roughest for her.  On Tuesday night her epidural fell out of her back and they put her on a morphine drip instead.  I was there all day yesterday and she looked MUCH better.  She was much more coherent, doing a great job at walking and sipping, sitting  up in the chair the whole time I was there.  I am so proud of how strong she has been through everything, we were absolutely terrified for a couple of days.  They're hoping to move her out of the ICU today and back down to the regular bariatric floor.  Not sure yet when she's getting out of the hospital,we're all just happy she's doing better.   As I've learned through this whole thing, things can change quickly so please keep her in your  prayers as she continues to recover.  Sorry I didn't update this sooner, I have been spending my entire days at the hospital.

Thanks for the update.  Please tell her Joe Green and the Tri-Cities WLS Supprt Group that meets at Joh Randolph Hospital is pulling for her.  I'll report her status to the Group when we meet Monday with any info you get us between now and then.
