WELCOME TO THURSDAY YA'LL
Good am,
How are ya'll doing? How was your Wednesday? Ours was jam packed! Work, chores, walking, catching up on a lot of misc To Do List items and of course 2 of my favorite things were on. I'm a big hockey fan and Da Penguins were playing Detroit a fantastic team (Penguins lost Game 6 of the Stanley Cup 3-2 :( last pm) and Ghost Hunters was on which was spiffy.
What's on the books for your Thursday? Gonna get things done early as possible today. Getting our walk in as soon as I get Kayla off to school since its supposed to be 96 degrees today with more thunderstorms. I'm thankful this week has gone by pretty fast. I'm missing one of my best connections so each day that passes is a day closer to him coming home. Also, I'm looking forward to some upcoming activities for the weekend.
Hope everyone enjoys their Thursday! Hugs and all that jazz!

Good morning glad to see the morning after all those storms last eve. wow we made it out ok but where my pookie works well he has his work cut out for hime today a bunch of downed trees to clean up along w/ two funerals but the trees must be cleared before the funerals can get in to the park. We kept power but alot around us lost it and there were roads closed from overflowing creeks and downed trees and power lines so it was a messy storm. Hope everyone else fared well. Today Im back to class its a all day session so wont be around until later this eve. so you guys be good and take care have a great day.

Hey, Kat! Glad you had a good Wed. It's funny that you say this week is going by fast because to me it seems like the loooooonnnnnnnngggggggeeeeeeeeeessssssssssttttttttttt week of my life. All of this testing means being stuck in the room with my kids all day (no specials at all, can't go outside to recess until everyone is done testing) so all of us are at each other's throats.
I am so over this hot weather! I've been really crazy busy and yesterday I finally went to lie down for a nap. (I used to do this pretty much everyday - 15-30 minutes and I was back up and ready to handle the rest of the day. Without it, I dragged all day long and didn't get much done) When I woke up a full two hours later........ so finally about 8 I decided to go down to my apt. pool and swim my laps there if no one was around. It's a kidney-shaped pool, so not exactly great for laps, but whatever. I hadn't put my contacts in so without my glasses and with my goggles on it was kind of fuzzy. I got soooooo creeped out. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I couldn't really see and kept imagining creepy people standing there watching. But it was freaky. So, I only lasted about 15 minutes.
Anyway, today is jam packed with school, a parent conference, meeting with Sgt. Bryan, a support group mtg. , and packing for my trip to Lynchburg tomorrow. (the baby is going to be there! Yay!)
But in good news - we finished our last test this morning!!!!!! I could not be more relieved to have that done with. We are having a little "party" with snacks and a movie now. (The Red Balloon - doesn't everyone watch that movie at least once a year in elementary school?)
So if I survive this week I'll let you know. Stay cool and hydrated everyone!

Morning Beautiful!!!!! My Wednesday was good. We enjoyed our work picnic and managed to make it home right before the storms started. In between storms I managed to get some *me* time and got my nails done. Got home and had a relaxing evening with my hubby, watching the storm reports & the storms. Ont the books for today is work, an awards ceremony for one of my girlies tonight & that is about it. Have a great one! Love you much!!!
Good morning, KK. I am staring at my phone and checking email on a borderline neurotic fashion!!! lol. I am waiting/hoping/praying/wishing for a job offer. I had a 2nd interview yesterday and need this job sooooo bad. I am also preparing for another round of interviews tomorrow. This week has truly gone by fast.
This weekend I get to check into an oceanfront hotel room for a few days. My parents are visiting the area and cant arrive till late tues, but have the unit from sat to sat.... So this will be cool. I have been staying with my sister and her boyfriend and son.... and they are so awesome, but i am sure they will appreciate having their own "space: for a few days.... lol. As soon as I get a job I wil be able to move to my own place.
I plan on going for a walk after dinner time. We were going to go to the Norfolk zoo but i think it is too hot today.
HAPPY THURSDAY ALL!
hugs,
Jill

Good Evening to everyone!!! Survived the storms of yesterday and the heat today. Spent the morning running errands, which can get one pretty hot when one does not have good ac in their car. A nice cold glass of pomagrante iced tea hit the spot afterwards. At noon I headed to work. Work went well as it was my "Friday". Now I have time for myself. Going to a prayer meeting Friday morning. A friend/co-worker is leaving the agency...going to have lunch with him also. Hugs to all...Cindy
